Inuyasha smiles.
Kagome raises an eyebrow at him sceptically. "What are you so happy about?" They were sitting in Kagome's room while he waited for her to finish with her homework. Since there was absolutely no rush, he had decided to wait for her...she was almost done anyway.
He glares at her, but a ghost of the smile still remains. "Nuthin..." She shakes her head and gives up. She couldn't afford to miss anymore school than she already was. Her grades were so bad she might have to take classes over the summer. But right now, she had to focus on her work...but it was hard. She didn't understand the math and she kept being distracted by Inuyasha. He kept playing with things...grrr...there he goes again.
Inuyasha sniffs the ground next to her bed, kneeling on all fours. "Now what are you doing, Inuyasha?" He holds up a single clawed finger, silencing her. He moves forward, closer to her bed, sniffing all the while. Then he pokes his head underneath the bed and lets out a bark of surprise and triumph. "Ah-hah!" Reaching under, he pulls out a snickers bar, wrapped and uneaten.
"NO!! Inuyasha! Don't touch that! Its mine!" Kagome yells at him, jumping up from her chair, almost tripping in her haste. Inuyasha smirks and holds it above his head, just out of her reach. "Its food and I'm hungry. Let me have it." He grins as she stands on her tiptoes against him, reaching up. "Give it back!" He laughs at her feudal attempt, making her very mad...but he realizes it too late. "Kagome wa—"
"Osuwari!" Boom!
Kagome takes the candy bar back from his twitching hands and sits calmly at her desk and takes another crack at her homework...
