Skie's First Flight

Dragons of all ages
Flew about in rages
At the little cub
Who tried to join their club.
"No way, Skie,
We'd rather die!
Than let a flightless one
Join in on the fun."
The dragons never were kind
Unless it was to their own kind.
Little Skie, riderless,
Would be the one to miss
All of the games and fun
That dragons did in the sun.
Staring at the sky,
Wishing she could fly,
The young dragon had a thought
Of a young woman who had fought
Some of the strongest foes,
Winning in only a few blows.
Kitiara, this woman
May be nicer than dragon men.
If she would befriend young Skie,
She could help Skie to learn to fly.
Days and Weeks, Months and Years,
Skie brought Kitiara to tears
With young dragon plights
And flightless fights.
Kitiara couldn't help but befriend
Little Skie in the end.
Over time, the two were doing well.
Skie even learned to fly when she fell.
Skie's small body and lopsided wings
Grew into much more beautiful things.
Deadly, became her claws,
Easily, she could break through walls.
Kit and Skie spent days together,
Even in the toughest weather.
Though they are sometimes far apart,
They love each other in their hearts.
only my favorite DragonLance character EVER. In some of the books, Skie is
spelled Ski, if there was any confusion, sorry. To bad I couldn't add Tas,
though. He's also really cool.(but not as cool as Kit)
