It was a misty morning on number ninety-three, Diagon Alley. The Wizarding street was not filled with its usual hustle and bustle this early in the day. The Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes sign glimmered brightly in the up coming sunlight. The building looked cozy and ready for customers as if it self had just woken up unlike its owners Fred and George Weasley who still lay unconscious in their beds. The only thing to wake them was the sudden owl running head on in their top story window.

Fred jumped out of bed dazed but startled by the sudden noise. George merely snorted louder in his sleep. Lazily Fred made his way across the room to the window where Errol the family owl clanged to the window sill for dear life. Fred carried him in and took the letter in his beak.

"Bloody owl, you should retire." He gave Errol a quick pat before letting him fall asleep on the table. After reading the address on the letter he kicked his twin awake who gave a cursed cry of annoyance from being woken up.

"Oye George wake your bum up. We gots a letter from mum."

George rubbed his face and yawned.

"What's she want now?"

Fred read the letter through and gave a slight laugh.

"She's mad at us for not writing all summer."

"What else is new?"

"She says their coming down for school supplies today. So we better show them hospitality."

"We'll give them the same we give all our customers." George was now changed and combing his hair.

"We can't treat them like customers she'll have us arrested." Fred threw down the letter and proceeded to get dressed.

"You open up and I'll go get breakfast." George called with a follow of a shutting door.

Fred walked down the stairs and flipped over the open sigh while unlocking the door. He walked to the cash register and tapped his wand to unlock it. He waved his wand around the shop and unlocked the rest of the merchandise from their protected cages. He turned and disappeared into the storage room and emerged seconds later with their new and improved set on Extendable Ears, now in an assortment of colors and more fake wands, which seemed to be the hottest sellers. George came back with a bag from Hopping Bagels, their favorite breakfast pastry.

"You ready for the crowds?" George said letting the squirming bagels out of the bag and tapping both with his wand. They ceased and rested in his hand as he sliced them open and Fred smothered them with strawberry jam.

"As I'll ever be."
