Two Friends Just Lying on the Grass
"Ron!" Hermione screamed at him, he face flushed red and her eyes were blazing with angry.
He whipped around, looking redder then her and angrier, "what?" he spat back.
She frowned her lips a tight line, "why are you being like this?" she said, trying to control her anger.
He glared at her, "I don't know what you're talking about Hermione," he said coldly, before trying to get away again.
She bit her lip and then grabbed one of his arms, "Look at me Ronald Weasley," She huffed, "look me in the eye Ron!"
His met hers reluctantly, "what?"
"Why?" She paused, "Why are you so mad at me?"
He pulled away roughly causing her to stumble slightly, "you should know Hermione," he said stiffly, "your the one who's change over the summer." He stared up at the sky, "You're the one who thinks this and that and somehow you always right."
"You're mad at me for being smart?" She asked not believing it but if he wanted to play it this way then she'll play it his way.
He looked at her and shook his head, "no, why would I be your friend if I did?"
"Well," she said sitting down, which he followed, "why are you my friend?"
He raised an eyebrow but said nothing for a minute before, "why are you my friend?"
She rolled her eyes, "I asked you first."
He snorted, "fine," his anger slowly melted away, "your not bad to be around with, if your not being to know-it-all type," he got a well earned glare for it that made him smile and say, "you asked."
She shook her head, "well?"
He smiled, "you're determined, once you want to know something you're always trying to figure it out no matter what." He glanced at her before clearing his throat, "your also," he paused before lying on the grass with a thump, hands behind head.
She looked down at him, "also?"
He smiled at her, "unforgivable stubborn."
She laughed, "Speak for yourself! You great prat!"
He grinned with her, "hey?" he asked, "Where's Harry?"
She smiled knowingly at him, "probably with your sister."
He paled, "you could've just said he was with someone else and spear me the mental pictures."
She laughed, "well," she placed a piece of her hair behind her ears, "you should get use to it you know."
He mumbled something before rolling over and plucking grass, she sighed and lied down next to him. He looked at her with a smirk, "why are you my friend?"
She rolled her eyes again, "isn't it obvious?" she sighed, "you saved me form the troll, you stand up for me, even when I don't want you to I might add, your loyal, and your the funniest and tall guy I've ever met."
He rolled his eyes but his ears went slightly pink, "alright, stop it."
She smiled and stated twirling a blade of grass in between her fingers, her hair started to fall from her shoulder to her face. Which was when he reached over and brushed it off slightly, startling her, and making him lush before sitting up. "Think we should go on in?"
She nodded not looking at him, even when he helped her up. When he did they ere closer then they wanted and pulled away blushing before heading up to the Burrow.
From a far if you were to watch the scene you'd see Ron say something which would make Hermione laugh before pushing him lightly and running off to the Burrow...neither of them thinking that they could be more then friends...and neither wanting to admit that they wouldn't mind it...
