Brian lives in darkness, excepting maybe the garish lights of Babylon. But beyond, it's darkness. Dark back rooms, some trick's face shrouded in shadow so that Brian doesn't have to look at him. Because if he did, he would see the same face he wakes up to every morning, eyes wide and unblinking.
Brian doesn't like to admit that someone has broken down his defenses. Nevertheless, Justin's invaded his heart and made himself so irrevocably a part of it that Brian thinks it would collapse if he were to ever leave.
Because even in the dark, he craves the sunshine.
