Chappie 5- Rei and Flame
'' Im sleepy'' said Flame as she and Rei walked into their cabin after cooking for Max and Ocean and Tyson and Sunlight
'' Yeah me too'' said Rei slumping down into the chair
'' C'mon lets go to bed'' yawned Flame looking at Rei. At this Rei raised an eyebrow
'' No Rei not like that, your mind is in the gutter'' laughed Flame as she sat at the table.
'' You know the first time i ever saw you I thought you were an angel'' Rei said, Flame looked shocked but then she smiled
'' Oh im no angel'' said Flame and she looked at the table beaming to herself. Rei lifted her head up and kissed her on the cheek.
'' Hey whats up?'' Rei looked into her eyes but found nothing, she was better at hiding her emotions than Kai. Flame got up and walked to the door
'' C'mon im tired'' Rei followed her into the bedroom and went to get changed. When he got into the room he noticed Flame was gone. His face turned into a frown and he walked outside. He searched around for a bit then he heard a voice
''Hey looking for me?'' Rei looked up and saw a leg dangling down from a tree. Then all a sudden the leg disspered and was replaced by Flame's upside down face. Rei chuckled and kissed the upside down Flame on the cheek
'' Why exactly are you up there?'' he asked and began climbing the tree to join her
'' Meh no reason, just got bored" she replied. Rei dangled his head upside down next to Flame
''What are you looking at?" he asked looking where Flame was
''The moon reflecting in the water'' she said not taking her eyes of the lake. Rei sat up followed by Flame. Suddenly Flame burst out laughing
''Whats so funny?" asked Rei confused
"Ha.. ha y you hahahahahahahahaha sh should ha see hahahahahahahaha you face!!!!!" she said gasping for air
''Whats wrong with my face?" Rei said worried. Flame stopped laughing
''Well its so red it looks like a tomato" she said Rei just looked at her and smiled
''C'mon lets go back in it will get cold soon" Flame leant back and flipped off the tree. She looked up at him and giggled
'' I thought you said you wanted to go back in so I am" Rei looked at her stuned and then continued climbing down the normal way. Once Rei got down he looked around and saw no Flame, he walked inside and looked around. He started to get worried but all of a sudden he felt his face collid with the floor and laughing
''I like scaring people" she said. Rei pouted
"I was not scared! I was suprised thats all" Flame laughed even louder
"Sure Rei of course" Rei suddenly grinned and reached his arms up. Flame looked at him then she rolled straight off him laughing if possible louder
"Hahahaha....please...no.hahahaha......hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha... please!!!" Rei smirked and let go of her. Flame stopped laughing and glared at him playfully
"How did you know i was ticklish?" she asked
"Well i didnt it was just a test so now i know what do when you tackle me" Flame got up and climbed into her bed
"Night Rei" Rei followed suit and clamberd into bed
"Sweet dreams Flame"
The red haired girl muttered quietly under her breath
"I'll never have sweet dreams" and with that she fell into a deep uneasy sleep
Flashback
A silver haired girl ran through dark passagways panting as she went, she ran on and on knocking people out of the way. Then she burst through the door of a dirty chamber. The door slammed behind her she stood completly still
"Flame...." she whispered. Young Flame looked up
"Shadow..please..help..me" little Shadow ran foreward and brought Flame into her arms. Flame suggled into her best friend but then the door swung open, there in front of them stood the devil himself ; Boris Balcov. Shadow stood up and growled under her breath but Boris just laughed
"I knew that you would come to help your pitiful friend" Shadow lunged foreward and caught Boris's shin in a quick kick
"SHE IS NOT PITIFUL!!!!! If anyone is you are!!" Boris grinned even more and signalled to the guards. Little Flame got up weakly and stumbled over to her friend despite her injuries. Shadow hugged her tight.
"Take Shadow to the torture chamber make her suffer" Boris orded, Shadow stood still and still hugged Flame. The guards walked over and dragged Shadow away, once she went Boris picked up Flame and slung her over his sholder
"Now then lets go watch the festivities" he whispered. He took Flame to the chamber and Flame watched as her best friend was hurt because she tried to help and protect her.
Next morning
Rei awoke to the smell of bacon and eggs. He climed out of bed and put his black trousers and tunic on and walked into the kitchen.
''Hey morning sleepy head'' Rei glanced at Flame who was sitting at the table with two plates of breakfast on. Rei smiled and took a seat.
''Didnt Shadow say you had to train this morning?" Flame held up two letters
''Shadow said we could have the day off so did Kai"
'' Oh" Rei got up and walked over to the window then he saw a sight that made his eyes pop out his head, she called Flame.
''Well we now know why we got the day off dont we?'' Flame said with a smirk on her face.
''Who would have known it Shadow and Kai" said Rei. In the middle of the courtyard was Kai and Shadow not much of an eye popper you say but Kai had his arms round Shadows waist and Shadow had her arms around Kai's neck, then they seperated and walked into the forest. Rei chuckled softley and returned to his seat 'I knew you wasnt completley emotionless Kai.' A soft voice woke him out his daze
"Are you actually going to eat your breakfast or is my cooking not good enough?" Rei snapped his head in the direction it came from and smiled
"Not at all Fiery its perfect" Flame looked at him curously but Rei shok his head and carried on eating
A Little while later
Rei and Flame were curled up together on the seatee (english for sofa or couch) eating chocolate flavoured ice-cream and watching some weird film on tv. Rei got up and put there bowls back
'' So why dont you tell me about your past then and how exactly you got to Tysons house?'' Flame looked at him suprised but once he sat down she began
''Well i was born on the 17th of July 1989 and I lived with my parants in Ireland which is a country in the United Kingdom and my full name is Flame Brooklyn, all of us have strange names like Sunlight and Ocean so it sounds weird and I got picked on at school but i didnt care because my bitbeast kept me going. No one cared at home either there were always kids coming in and out. Then one day when I was about 4 these men came and gave my mom some money then they took me away i thought I was going somewhere special away from the family I hated but I wasnt. When I was in the van I met this girl who went by the name of Shadow, she was Italian. We must have gone on a plane or something because i felt sick. When we got to this place we met the others but it was horrible we had to work even if we were young. There was another place like where we was but for boys ours was just for girls. Shadow had it worst 'cos she was the leader of our group. Anyway we broke out when were ten became famous, then we got kiddnaped again and the night we came was another night we broke out, we used to try all the time but it worked apart from the fact Ocean sparained her ankle but thats it"
Rei was shocked, she seemed so happy but she had had a seriously bad childhood and she didnt care. Flame gave a small smile knowing Rei was suprised so she curled up on him. Rei began stroking her hair again and he hugged her
"You know im not a piece of glass im not fragile and you dont have to hug me that tight" Rei released her got up
"Hey Kitten where are you going?" Flame asked Rei smiled and turned around
"Is that my new nickame? Well im going to get more ice cream" Flame chuckled and snuggled into the pillows. Rei glanced at her and smiled warmly, she looked like a little puppy. All small and her hair was covering her. Rei walked out and came back in with two bowls. So they sat there and ate their ice-cream and didnt do anything at all seens as they were too tired and watching some strange film on telly.
