The Prize in Surprise

Note: I don't own k-son. No one does. It's just some radio station I made up for this fiction. So don't spend your whole afternoon trying to tune your radio in for it.
CHAPTER 1: Welcome to K-SON Studios
"Hi, and you're listening to K-SON, the Sonic the Hedgehog radio station. I'm your main bat girl, Rouge the Bat. We have a whole load of songs from various Sonic games. Anyway, that song just now was Azure Blue World, the Emerald Beach level from Sonic Adventure 1. We'll be right back after this commercial break."
"Aaaaand yooooou're out! Nice job, Rouge, but you don't have to do the intro for ach time you're on the air. Just day something like 'this is K- SON, now for another song.' Or something like that."
Welcome to K-SON studios. Sonic, Rouge, Amy, Tails, and Big the Cat are all crew members to this world-wide radio station. Sonic is in charge of it all. He makes the script, gives advice, and mainly tells them what to do. Tails does the control room. He makes sure the music gets on the air, and also helps Sonic. Amy is in charge of money matters. She makes sure that the new ideas and electronics can fit in the budget. Rouge, of course, is the person that talks in-between music and commercials. Because of her voice, more and more listen to K-SON. Big the Cat is in charge of music. He chooses which songs are next, out of the 300 they have.
"All right" said Tails "you're on again in 10" He started counting down until he hit zero, then pointed to her, signaling she was on the air.
"Hello and you're listening to K-SON - The ultimate sonic radio station. Next up we have a long one: The theme song for SA2, Live and Learn."
Soon, Rouge was off the air, and she took a sigh of relief. She heard a door slam behind her. She turned around in her chair and saw Sonic standing in the doorway.
"Rouge, we're starting a contest for a trip to this tropical island. Could you squeeze that in the next break?"
"Oh, sounds interesting. I'll put that in." Rouge replied. "But can I get more details? Like what island it is, or how many days it'll be."
"Oh, right. It's a 2-night stay at a hotel in Angel Island. Trip for two. And, well, that's it."
Rouge nodded and Sonic shut he door behind him as he left. Soon, Sonic walked to about everybody, telling them about the new contest. Everyone was excited, for this was the first contest that K-SON has ever made. It hasn't really fit in their budget before.
"Wow, finally, we can finally have contests on our station now!" exclaimed Tails. "We're finally getting more popular with the more things the average radio station has!
"Isn't it great, Sonic?" said Amy. "We can finally run a decent contest, now!"
"Hoo heeeeee!" cheered Big. "I can't wait!"
Yes, everyone was excited about their new improvement to the radio station. However, there was one character (okay, there was many, but I won't mention them due to laziness) that has been left out of this fanfiction - Knuckles the Echidna.
Now you know Knuckles, the red echidna with gloves. He's usually a nice guy. Well, at least when his temper isn't berserk. Well, he has been pretty ticked off about something since about 2 months ago. Strange, how that happens to be about the same date the K-SON started to air. Coincidence?
Will the contest work out? What is with Knuckles' anger? Who will win the contest? Tune in to the next time that I feel like updating this fanfic IN...
