Sakura Trees
And she ran to him.
Through the softly lit grass,
and sakura trees.
And he called; sang to her.
In a voice only she can hear,
as to others, it would be no voice
At all. A faint glimmer of a tear,
in the corner of her eye,
But only when the light hits the
Right way.
And he collapses, but ever so lovingly.
At her feet, as she smoothes,
His tangled locks,
In her soft hands.
Whispering to him,
In a voice only he can hear. She cradles his head,
and rocks him ever so slightly,
As to not disturb the silence,
And tranquility of the scented
Wind.
Aish'teru, she whispers,
And as the sound of her voice,
Reached his ears,
The drops of her eyes,
graze his face. She twists her ivory fingers through his
Flaming hair;
And he closes his eyes.
She caresses his face,
And shares with him future plans; dreams.
He sighs, for a last time, as she speaks to him;
In the calmest tone. He's gone, but still resting in her arms;
The light peeking through the trees and illuminating
Them.
Frozen in time.
And she thinks back to when,
She was free from deep creases in her face;
And when his smile enchanted her for the
Very first time. She sobs very silently;
As not to disturb,
The scented wind adorning his hair,
With the cherry blossoms,
From the sakura trees.
