Crime Pays

LIBERTY CITY 1998 – Marcos Bistro

"The gangs of Liberty are finished, nobody fears them anymore" said Toni. "You're right, the filth have finally got this place under control," said
Tommy Vercetti.
"It's bad for business, nobody wants to pay us for protection, they all
think now that the filth run the place, that they don't need it" said
Luigi. "Even our biggest payer has left us, maybe you should go teach 'em a lesson
Tommy" said Joey Leone. "Are you kidding? I'm to old for that shit, but I heard there was this kid, used to run the show around here. Did some work for us, but then Salvatore
tried to rub him out" Tommy Answered. "Oh, yeah. I remember that kid, he did work for Joey, Toni and I. He did his work well too. After he flead from the mafia, he worked for almost all
the gangs in Liberty," said Luigi.
"You should go talk to 8-ball Tommy, he'll know where to find him" said
Toni.
"You know what, I might just do that"
Tommy stood up.
"I'll be back in a little while"
"Don't come back until you've robbed Mr Wong's Laundrette, that should
teach 'em to pay us some respect" said Toni.
Tommy nodded and left the Bistro.
He entered his Limo and drove to 8-ball's Autoyard.
"Yo, Thomas 'sup bro" said 8-ball as Tommy exited his car.
"8-ball, it's been awhile"
"What you be needin' Tommy?"
"I've come lookin' for the kid, you know who I mean right?" "Oh yeah. I know where to find him, won't have much luck with him though.
He left the way of Crime a long time ago"
"Just tell me where he is"
"If you say so. You should be able to find him at the Staunton Island Casino. After he killed Kenji, he took over the business. You'll find him
in the managers office on the bottom floor of the casino"
"Thanks a lot pal, be seeing ya" Tommy said as he entered his car once
again. It wasn't long after that when Tommy arrived at Kenji's casino. He entered
the building and headed for the managers office. He opened the door and
entered. 'Kid' looked up.
"You shouldn't be in here, get out" "I've got a proposition, you used to work the way of crime right? Why don't
you come back huh? You'll earn more money in a day then you would in a
month here"
"I don't work for gangs anymore, bad experiences, SECURITY!"
"I've had bad experiences too. You don't see me crying"
"I could make more money by turning you into the cops than I could in a
years work of crime, Vercetti. SECURITY!"
"So you know who I am, big deal"
At that moment two bouncers rushed in and grabbed Tommy. "Take him outside and beat the living crap outta him, then we'll take him
to the cops" said the Kid.
"Crime pays kid, you know it," yelled Tommy as he was dragged out. Outside the two bouncers pulled out brass knuckles. Tommy punched out the first one with one hit. The other one was a bit tougher but no match for Tommy's experience. Tommy soon took him out too. The kid appeared through
the door.
"Looks like I'll have to deal with you myself" Tommy punched him too the ground and started to kick him. Then remembering
he needed him, he stopped. He pulled a colt python on him.
"Had enough punk?" he said.
"Yeah ok, ok, ill give crime another shot," said the kid.
They entered the limo.
"So we going to meet my old pals Luigi and Joey?" asked the Kid.
"No we have to make a little stop first," said Tommy.
"Where?"
"Mr Wong's" Tommy said and he smiled.
