Pale eyes that gleamed like death fluttered open. Her naked figure donned only by her emerald beddings unraveled from her cat-like coil- stretching her tall body. Her arms flailed to find the hem of the cover and wrapped around her bosom. Those stone-coloured eyes wandered the cold room and landed on the smaller, still figure beside her. Long fingers locked into the other girl's hair, and ran down her face to gently brush it.
"Hermione, love, wake up."
Hermione shifted closer to her, "Good morning, Sara.." She said softly.
Sara held the Gryffindor closer, pushed Hermione's head to her chest, and brushed the bushy hair out of the girl's face. What a beautiful person she is, Sara thought as she stroked her hair.
Hermione looked up, then kissed Sara's shoulder, " I love you."
Sara looked deep into those amber eyes, " I love you too."
The girls got up and got dressed almost in silence, save the time when Sara accidentally sat on crookshanks. " Nhhh...!"
" Why are the Slytherin dorms so cold?" ,said Hermione with a shudder.
"We're down below the school, love!"
"Oh, yeah.."
"Gah.need food."
"Whatever you say, Sara." Hermione gave a small giggle.
Hermione crept slowly to open the fifth year girls' dorm door and peeked around.
"Honestly, Hermione! There's not a single soul around!!!"
What Sara spoke of was true. Like clockwork, the yearly evil had ridden the school of most of it's inhabitants during the Christmas break. Hardly any of the Slytherins were, left- Draco and Co., Sara, one or two older students, and a lonely first year.
"Just being cautious." Hermione let out a small scream of surprise as she was scooped up into her arms and down to breakfast.
