The front door of the Halliwell Manor swung fiercely open, as a very angered Piper stormed in, absolutely drenched from the torrential rain outside. She thrusted her keys down on the sideboard, the clang echoing throughout the Victorian house.
"Piper?" A voice came from upstairs, shortly followed by footsteps. It was her half sister Paige, who was quickly making her way down the stairs. "What's up?" she asked, with a tired
Piper remained silent, as she directed a stone cold glare in Paige's direction. Paige forced a smile, and took a step back away from Piper, knowing how destructive her hand gestures could be.
"Look at me!" Piper yelled, her voice echoing. "I'm soaked!"
Paige sighed. "I can see that Piper," she paused for a moment, forcing back a giggle from the sight of Piper. "But when you go off on one like that, there's something more to it - it's always the case,"
Piper rolled her eyes, "Oh it's nothing... just some sleaze bag at P3 thought I was a lap dancer. So I slapped him"
"Piper!" Paige exclaimed. "What did you do that for...wait?" she paused for a moment. "He thought you were a what?"
Piper began to make her way into the kitchen, after hanging her drenched coat on the coat hook. "A lap dancer... I know bizarre.." Piper waltzed into the kitchen, Paige shortly following behind her. "Then he asked me if P3 was an exotic dancer's club," she continued, leaning over the breakfast bar, and looking up at Paige.
"What did you say?" Paige asked, sitting at the kitchen table with an intrigued look.
Piper turned to the kitchen sink, looking horrified at the washing up bowl. Quickly, she began to apply a small lather of washing up liquid to the clutter, and began to massage the crockery and cutlery until the point of cleanliness. She turned her head around to Paige. "I told him to leave," she finished, with a slight smirk.
"Good for you." Paige nodded her head teasingly, before laughing in unison with her sister.
"Where's Wyatt?" Piper wondered, glancing around the kitchen.
Paige sighed. "He's upstairs, asleep" She smiled.
"And Chris?" Piper quizzed.
"Fine" Paige replied. "You don't need to worry about your boys, they're two powerful witches, Piper."
Piper sighed, after placing a dinner plate in the drying rack. "I know, I just sometimes get this strong feeling that someone's after them, you know, like maybe Gideon hasn't really gone."
"Leo vanquished him Piper, trust me," she paused. "He's gone."
Piper directed a small gleam at Paige, her doing the same.
"Fancy some TV?" Paige asked her older sister, Piper shaking her head.
"No, I just want to get some rest," she yawned. "I've been up for 3 months with Chris balling his head off."
Paige sighed. "He'll grow out of it," she paused. "I mean, Wyatt did."
Suddenly, a knock came from the door. The sound was loud, and echoed greatly throughout the Manor. Piper and Paige wandered over with hesitation, but armed with the power to freeze, Piper finally grasped the nerve to open the door.
It was Phoebe, tears were streaming down her face and her eyes were red. "Jason..." is all she could mutter.
"What's happened?" Paige asked, with a concerned look on her face - Piper joining her.
Phoebe sniffed back a stream of tears. "He's.... He's dead"
