AN: I wrote this a long time ago, a writer's exercise it to write a real book from another characters POV. So I wrote a Nancy Drew from her father, lawyer Carson Drew's POV. yo.

Oh course, Carolyn Keene (or the estate of Carolyn Keene, or whomever it is that's been writing under the name) owns Nancy & her cohorts.
Leaving work, secretary getting cold in regards to my advances. Must try harder.

Driving home, see Nancy soon, good child, must keep her from the marriage market for as long as possible, tempt her further with the Horton case... Must send her out with that new lead... Keep her away from Ned. Pretty girl. George's jealousy may thwart any mens advances while she's away. George has leanings. Normally would trust her alone with Nancy, but Bess, insipid though she is, will hold her back... somewhat.

Stop off at store, purchase tobacco, flirt with store clirk, young, very pretty, blushes, but refuses my offer of a night out, her mother doesn't let her date older men, am I that old? Short changes me, accident? I think not.

Pull into drive. Nancy's home. Good child. Park in garage, check reflection in mirror, handsome devil, straighten tie. Loving it.
