My Immortal
Ferio sat alone in his room, his hand wet from salt tears,
"I'm so tired of being here,
suppressed by all my childish fears
and if you have to leave
i wish that you would just leave..."
"Ferio..." He recalled her sweet voice back to him, as his mind played back
his first encounter with her and her friends
"...'cause your presents still lingers here
and it won't leave me alone..."
"Fuu..." he whispered into the darkness
"These wounds won't seem to heal
this pain is just to real
there just to much that time cannot erase..."
He clenched his fists, his golden eyes empty with sorrow,
"when you cried I'd wipe all of your tears,
when you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
and I held your hand through these years..."
He recalled more memories, her warm smiles, soft kisses... He never came
out of his room or his curtains, afraid the sky would remind him of her.
"But you still have...all of me"
He would never forget her
"You used to captivate me,
by your resonating life
now I'm bound by the life you left behind..."
"Ferio, you can't stay in there forever..." Hikaru knocked on his door
softly. She heard footsteps inside, then a click in the door. "Go away..."
he said bluntly, before going back to his bed...
The memories fade...no one disturbed him now.
"you face it haunts
my one pleasant dreams
your voice it chased away
all the sanity in me..."
He stood, the tears dry on his cheeks, going to his closet.
"these wounds won't seem to heal,
this pain is just too real
there's just too much that time cannot erase..."
He took out a jewelled box, opening it slowly
"when you cried I'd wipe all of your tears,
when you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
and i held your hand through these years
but you still have...all of me"
He took out a green bit of cloth, a pair of glasses, and a small emerald.
"I've tried so hard to tell myself that your gone
but though your still with me
I've been alone all along"
"I'll be with you soon..." Holding the items to his heart, he made his way
to his balcony door, turning to look at his dark room one last time. He
turned again, opening the curtains and glass doors,
"when you cried I'd wipe all of your tears,
when you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears..."
His mind played it's most painful memory-
"FUU!!!" Ferio ran to her, her body splayed on the ground, her stomach and
chest punctured, a pool of blood growing around her. She opened her eyes
that were red with tears, face pale, "Ferio, P-Please, don't forg-get
me..."
"i would never forget you" he took off her glasses, and looked deep into
her emerald pools. She smiled weakly, before taking the emerald off her
glove, "Keep it close to your heart" and ripped off part of her battle-torn
skirt, wrapping it around the emerald, her own blood dirtying the cloth.
She held it out, and ferio took it, her clammy hands holding his own,
before her eyes closed, her face at peace as she took her last breath...
over his gold orbs. He looked out to the beautiful Cephiro, his face
smiling softly,
"and i held your hand through all of these years..."
He stood on the handrails, before saying, "I'm coming, my love..."
"but you still have...all of me..."
