A/N: This is my first ever LotR fiction but I was watching the movies the other day and I got a great idea so this is my fic and yah.
A young girl sits beneath a willow reading, near a beautiful river, leading into the elfin city of Rivendale, she had shoulder length red hair with green eyes. She wore a green tunic with a long hooded cloak that was lying on the ground like a blanket.
An older man --with brown hair pulled back in a half ponytail with two strands in the front loose—walked up from behind the tree. He walked very quietly, but the girl's ears picked up the sound nonetheless and she addressed the man with out even turning to face him "Lord Elrond, how may I help you this lovely day?"
"Gandalf is in need of your assistance Aleda. A moth came saying it was sent by him for help," this caught Aleda's attention. "Gandalf seems to be trapped at the top of Isengard tower with no way down, and I believe escaping from heights is your expertise."
"I will leave at once Lord Elrond." Aleda said standing and putting her cloak on "I will have Gandalf back before dawn."
"I have faith that you will. Thank you Aleda."
With that she was gone.
On Isengard tower Aleda's pov
A man I new as the White Wizard Saruman was using his staff to beat the life out of Gandalf I kept my self hidden out of site as I listened and waited for the moment when I would send the young moth –that had brought me here— out to tell Gandalf I was here, as I listened Saruman talked to Gandalf
"A friendship with Saruman is not lightly thrown aside." He said flipping Gandalf over, "One ill turn deserves another. It is over," Gandalf now hung of the edge of the building, "Embrace the power of the ring or embrace your own destruction!" he through Gandalf into one of the great pillars. I decided now would be a good time for him to know of my presents. The moth flew past as a sign.
Normal pov
As the moth flew past Gandalf stood understanding what it meant, "There is only one Lord of the ring, only one who can bend it to his will and he does not share power!" with that said Gandalf jumped off the tower only to be caught by the young girl Aleda. She had readied her wings for a great weight only to find the old wizard was not as heavy as she had thought. "Ah hello young fearie girl I wondered who the moth would send for but I never thought it would be you Aleda."
"I thought you never get in trouble, is that not what you told me once Gandalf the Gray?" she said with a smile holding him under the shoulders.
"Yes I believe I did say that once but since when do you listen to a word anyone says?"
"I listen when it matters to listen, and just because I'm not talking it does not mean I am not listening."
"Ach, you and your fearie logic. I don't think your own people would even understand you..."
"And that's just how I like it... so tell me old wizard, is it true what they say of the ring being found in the shire?"
