Lesson Plan
Harry Potter waited patiently for Professor Lupin to arrive the young wizard sat on a large wooden desk in an empty runes classroom, facing an open window. The cool evening air brushed pleasantly against his face, stirring his hair and his thoughts.
"Harry, it is most important to think of the happiest moment in your entire life" rang Lupin's voice in Harry's head. "A memory that makes you the most ecstatic, most joyous. A thought of a moment when no other emotion filled your head but bliss."
Dozens of memories and visions ran through the boy's mind. The day he found out he was a wizard. When he first became friends with Ron. When he first saw the image of his parents in the Mirror. Flying. Seeing the look on Dobby's face when he set the house elf free from the Malfoy's. Playing Quittich. Winning against Slytherin. Beating Malfoy.
Draco.
Harry's mind halted. Draco. Thoughts, memories flooded his head once again.
Draco's face, so pale and angelic. Draco's eyes, full of trust towards Harry. Draco's smile, his smirk as he mockingly scolded Harry in his shortcomings. Draco's touch. So soft. Draco's kiss.
The end of Harry's wand glowed. "The first time we kissed" thought Harry. Closing his eyes and allowing a smile to cross his face.
"Think happy thoughts, Harry" said Lupin's voice.
"Expecto...pratrounum...." whispered Harry.
Light filled the room, warm light that made the full moon framed in the window to pale like a second sun. The silver mist felt warm against Harry's skin, caressing his face like Draco's soft fingers.
Harry lowered his wand, letting the effect of his temporary patronous mist to wash over him. The boy put his wand away in his pocket, hopped from the desk and returned to his dormitory. Lupin was not coming tonight, and the young wizard had learned more then enough for the night without him.
