"Sit boy!" cried a very angered Kagome. Once again, Inu-Yasha and her were fighting again. "You were supposed to be looking for shards while I was off taking my tests!"
"Look! It's not my problem you have to keep taking these tests and it surely isn't my responsibility to be looking for these shards. After all you did break the jewel and not me. You should be doing this yourself." Inu- Yasha snapped.
"Well fine then! I'm going home for a week. We'll see what happens next week! Hopefully you'll be better tempered!" Kagome lashed out as she jumped through the well.
"Yea! You'll realize in a day that what I said was right!" Inu-Yasha breathed out right as she left. He glanced down the well and back to the group. "She'll be back tomrorrow. Just you watch!" Inu-Yasha stood up and turned toward the village. "Let's go back."
Sango and Miroku looked at each other and rolled their eyes. These fights were getting way to regular. This was like now on Inu and Kagome's agenda. The got up and followed the Hanyou back to the Village. There, Shippo had helped Kaede prepare their dinner. Dinner was finished right as they got there. They all munched on their food for a good thirty minutes. Inu-Yasha sat in a corner and watched them stuff their faces. As he sat, he smelled something; something of demon blood. He checked again and noticed now it was more human. Finally it came to him and he sensed anther hanyou.
"What is it Inu-Yasha? Do you smell something? A demon perhaps?" Miroku asked cautiously.
"No. A hanyou like myself. But its not possible." Inu-Yasha said leaping up to his feet and running out the door. "Is anyone out here?"
"I am." A voice simply called out from the shadows.
"Who are you? Show yourself!" Inu-Yasha called to the figure as he turned his sights toward it.
The figure emerged and a beautiful hanyou was shown. Inu-Yasha couldn't believe his eyes. Her hair was as black as night. Her eyes were cerulean blue and sparkled magically in the moonlight. Her pale skin reflected the moonlight and it showed her features perfectly. She giggled and blinked her eyes rapidly. "Hi there. I'm Madisyn. I'm a dog hanyou such as yourself."
"I noticed." Inu-Yasha barked trying to hide the fact that he was intrigued by this female. He sighed and smiled. "Would you like to come in. We're just starting to eat."
"I would like that..uh..."
"Inu-Yasha."
"Yes, Inu-Yasha." Her voice was so angelic. He couldn't resist. He was in love again, more or less.
"Everybody!" Inu-Yasha announced, "This is Madisyn. A dog hanyou. She is alone and I offered her to stay here with us. She can have Kagome's portion since she aint coming back tonight."
Everyone looked at them strangely but shrugged it off. Madisyn knelt down and grabbed the portion that was handed to her by Shippo.
"You're very pretty." Shippo said bashfully.
Madisyn smiled and giggled. "Thank you, cutie."
"Shippo, Madisyn."
"Right." She smiled again and sipped her soup contently.
"So Madisyn. Where do yee come from?" Kaede asked.
"Well it's a long story so I hope you all are wide awake."
Everyone nodded and sipped soup as Madisyn began her story.
