Two little boys were playing out in an open field. The sun was bright and the skies were dotted with clouds. One of the little boys with light brown hair called to the other who had black hair. "You can't catch me!" laughed the light haired one. He ran far and fast, laughing. "Wait up!" huffed the black haired child. As he went on he couldn't find his friend anywhere. "Gareth?!" he shouted, "Where are you?" He slowed to a walk. He looked around in all directions. He couldn't find him. "Gareth?" he yelled. He did not find Gareth and he began to worry. The sky became dark as the black haired child began to cry. "WHERE ARE YOU?!" he yelled. The sky flashed and the black haired boy woke up. He lay in bed panting. He felt embarrassed thinking about the past after all he was 17 years old not a little boy. The rain pattered on the window as he sat up. He rubbed his dark brown eyes. He looked out the window and saw the trees blowing in the wind. A flash of light appeared and it was followed by a sound of thunder. "It was the storm that woke me up..." The door creaked open and Gareth now 17, entered into the room. "Nightstar, are you alright?" he asked, "I heard you yelling in sleep..." Nightstar turned to Gareth. "It was just a bad dream." He said nonchalantly as he could. "Well it seems like you had a nightmare because you're covered in sweat." Nightstar smiled a little. His friend knew him so well. "I'm fine", insisted Nightstar. Gareth gave a look that was that seemed to bore into him. "If it still bothers you, look for me and tell me your dream." He turned and headed for the door. Before he left he turned and told Nightstar to relax and get some more sleep. Gareth shut the door. He listened to Gareth's footsteps and fell back into a dreamless sleep. Just as Gareth was about to enter his room he remembered that he had to see the Anich. They were the rulers of the empire but recently they had been acting strangely. Gareth's family had served the Anich for generations. He walked quietly over to the window; the rain had stopped. Gareth then put on his black cloak and silently walked over to his hover car. He was grateful it started silently. He drove toward the place where the Anich lived. It was a grand thing. The walls were made of white marble. It was huge, furnished with the best things money could buy. It was surrounded by a golden fence. That's all for now but I'll write more ASAP!
