Sitting tied up in a car sinking to the bottom of Lake Mead wasn't quite how Sara had planned to spend her day off.

She struggled against the tape that bound her hands together. She screamed, but no one heard her calls for help as she sank deeper into the depths of the lake. Water rushed in through every accessible crevice, filling the car. Sara pushed herself as close to the roof as possible, trying to get as much oxygen as she could before the car filled and there was no more air. She took one last deep breath before the water reached the top. Holding her breath, she continued to fight the tape, to fight for her life.

She thought of her parent's back in California, they hadn't wanted her to move to Vegas.

Next, she thought of her job at the lab and all her co-workers. She wondered if they would be the ones called in to process the sunken car.

Sara's lungs burned, she needed air. Unable to hold her breath any more she opened her mouth, cold water rushed into her mouth, filling her lungs.

That's when she thought of the man at home in bed. The one who was waiting for her to return to him. What would he do when she never came back? As darkness washed over her she imagined his face, thinking it was the last time should would ever see it.

Sara sat up in bed, drenched in a cold sweat. She couldn't stop herself from shaking as she gasped for air. The man lying beside her sat up and put his arm around her, holding her tight.

"Sara, what is it? What's wrong?" he asked. His concern for her filled every word.

She leaned back onto him, allowing him to comfort her.

"What case is the nightmare from this time?"

She sat up and looked into his eyes, there was no sign of annoyance in them. He understood her so well, he knew here was nothing she could do to stop the horrible dreams from coming.

"The one we worked last night. I was inside a car with my hands taped together. I fought to get free but I couldn't. The car just kept sinking into the lake. It was dark. The water filled the car so quickly, it wasn't long before the air ran out and there was only water. There was so many things that went through my head while I was under the water." She paused, lost in thought. He voice had been eerily even during her monologue.

Taking deep breath she continued, "I can't help but wonder what Sherri thought of while in the car. What she felt knowing that she was all alone and going to die."

He took Sara by the shoulders, making her look into his eyes once again. "Sara it's going to be all right. We caught the guy, he not going to hurt anyone ever again. Besides, what he did to Sherri, his own girlfriend, will never happen to you. I would never hurt you and you know that. I love you Sara Sidle."

She leaned into him, listening to his heart beat. "I love you too Warrick Brown." She said smiling up at him, her smile—he beautiful, beautiful smile.

A/N = Ack!! I can't believe I wrote that. I'm not even a W/S shipper. I blame them being together on Jilla, she told me I had to end my next unbound fic with out putting Griss and Sara together and this is what happened. mumble
