Written for a drabble challenge - "something with Karupin in it". Well, it has Karupin in it, but it ended up having Fuji and Ryoma in it, too. Because you KNOW Ryoma /so/ gets jealous over his cat.

Ryoma wasn't sure how, exactly, Fuji-senpai ended up following him home that day. It had something to do with Math remedial lessons that he couldn't attend due to tennis practice, most of the other third year seniors being occupied with their own work, and the fact that he trusted Momo-senpai with his homework about as far as he could throw him.
Fuji-senpai, he found, was extremely low-maintenance company, satisfied to follow Ryoma's lead without engaging in small talk, so much that Ryoma almost forgot he was there when he opened his room door and dropped his bag carelessly inside.
"Karupin!" he called, crouching down and holding a hand out as the cat hopped off his bed and made a bee-line straight to...
...rub against Fuji-senpai's ankles with a satisfied purr.
Ryoma blinked.
Fuji-senpai made a pleased noise and went down to one knee to scratch Karupin behind the ears. "I didn't know you had a cat," he said. "Himalayan longhair, is it? You don't see a lot of them in Japan."
Karupin purred harder, closing his eyes in bliss as Fuji-senpai found the exact spot along his jaw that he liked rubbed.
Ryoma blinked again, blurting out the first thing that came to his mind. "Fuji-senpai, you seduced my cat."
Fuji-senpai stopped scratching, prompting Karupin to butt his head against his hand, and looked up with an expression of mild confusion. "Is that some kind of American slang, Echizen?" he asked. "Your cat's very friendly. Has he been with your house for a long time?"
"Uh... yeah," Ryoma said, nonplussed. He loved Karupin, of course, but Karupin wasn't exactly what he'd call 'friendly' to strangers. In fact, the scratches that Momo-senpai had acquired the first time he came over to Ryoma's house had taken almost a week to fade, and Karupin still barely tolerated his father, and that was only because the old man fed him. "You seduced my cat," he repeated inanely.
Fuji-senpai raised an eyebrow.
"...I'm sorry, Echizen," he said gravely, after a pause. "I didn't do it on purpose. One night of dancing... some wine... and the next thing you know, magic happened."
Ryoma scowled. "Fuji-senpai, are you making fun of me?"
"No," Fuji-senpai said, plastering a look of abject innocence on his face. "Would I do something like that? ...I can take responsibility in the morning if you like."
Ryoma scowled harder. "FUJI-SENPAI."
Fuji-senpai laughed, and on the floor between them, Karupin meowed.
