Dear Mummy,
Daddy says that you didn't want to go but you had to even though you had to leave me and the new baby. But Daddy doesn't say much anymore mummy.
He says the new baby is called Hoshi and that she's my sister, but she cries a lot and Daddy doesn't have time for me. I don't like her Mummy, she makes Daddy sad, and she makes him cry too.
I had a bad dream last night, I dreamt that a big monster was chasing me, I went to find you 'cause I forgot you were away but I found Daddy crying instead. I asked him when you were gonna be back but he told me you weren't gonna come back at all.
Loads of people have been visiting; everybody is so sad that you've gone. Daddy's friend Trip has been round a lot, Trip told me that Daddy was just really upset and busy with the new baby but that doesn't mean he doesn't love me. He says that I'm being a brave boy. I asked him why you weren't coming back but he didn't answer me.
Did I do something wrong Mummy? I'm sorry for being naughty; I didn't mean to break the cup thingy. Please come back Mummy, I miss you. I don't like home anymore, everybody's so sad. I heard someone say you'd pass on-what have you passed onto? Is that why you can't come back?
Mummy, I don't understand.
Please come home-I'll be good I promise, I'll even be nice to the new baby, just come home.
