Shadow's Quest for Vengeance

Setting the scene: It's around 3:00am and Shadow had just awoken in a chamber. His surroundings are bleak, there is nothing but black. He cannot remember a thing, and then his mind is cast back further... this reminds him of a predicament he has already been in. Yes, the problem with Eggman. Shadow begins to worry, as he begins to think that it has happened all over again...

Chapter 1: The Same Problem, Again
Deja Vou, Shadow thought. He looked around, black all around him. Where have I seen this same room before...? It hit him. Eggman. He checked his wrist for the communicator Rouge had given him. Gone. Damn! His only way of getting help, lost. Then, all of a sudden, a crashing noise came from the darkness. Shadow felt for his Chaos Emerald. Thankfully, whoever had captured him had not taken it. H peered into the darkness, and the face of Rouge appeared. Then Omega. Then... Sonic?? What is he doing here, Shadow thought disgustingly. Rouge laughed happily at the site of Shadow. "Shadow! Your alive!" She shouted at the top of her voice. Shadow smiled, for what seemed like the first time in his life. The sight of Rouge made him feel warm inside and happy. His world stopped for a few seconds as her beautiful face ran towards him, and he was thankful that he was still alive. After he had marveled at her face for so long, she opened the chamber he was enclosed in. He jumped out and she hugged him. "Oh Shadow! We have been so worried!"
"I was beginning to think where you were." He glared at Sonic. "So, what are YOU doing here?"
"Well, I decided to tag along, see how my Rival Team are doing... And, from what I see, your doing pretty poorly."
"Oh, just go Sonic. You cause too much trouble." Shadow called out. And, with that, Sonic just glared at Shadow and left. Shadow turned to Rouge and said, "Lets get out of here."
"Affirmative." Omega replied flatly. And, as soon as Shadow had gathered his stuff from the room, (which was surprisingly difficult, due to it being pitch black except for the glow that came from the chamber) they left. Shadow thought to himself, I will capture whoever encased me like a doll, but, first things first, recuperate. And they walked out of the building and into the rising sun.
