Season 8 Episode 1
Buffy was watching a late night movie with Dawn and Spike. It was an old vampire movie, kind of dumb. When Buffy heard a loud scream coming from out side Spike was half a wake & Dawn was sleeping. Buffy ripped on her coat and grabbed a stake. Spike followed her. Buffy ran as fast as she could,
the scream was getting closer, and Spike could not keep up with her
running. So he took a short cut. "Its coming from the grave yard" Buffy said. Buffy leaped over a tomb stone only to land on Spike. "What?" Buffy said. "It's a set up." Spike said. "Look" Spike pointed to a tape recorder that was set up on the tomb stone's ledge. He pushed play and they heard the same scream. "Wait play that again." Buffy said. Spike went to go push
play again, when the tape recorder fell from the tomb stone's ledge and landed on its back. "What's does it say?" Spike asked. Buffy picked it up and saw a little sticker on the back that said: Return To: Dawn Summers If
Lost. "My sister really stinks at covering up." "Well if were here and she's at home she....we have to get home!" Buffy said. "Well could you not run as fast I....?" Buffy was gone. "Bloody Hell" Spike took the short cut home. As Spike approached the house the lights were off in the window and Buffy was trying to open the door. Panting she walk around and tried the
back door. "You know if Dawn wanted us gone she would probably lock the
doors if we came back." Spike said. "Well it never hurts to try" Buffy said. "Don't you have your keys?" Spike asked. "Ya, I do in my green coat, Buffy did not remember what coat she grabbed so she looked down only to see her black coat. "Dang it!" She said. "Well don't you have a spare?" Spike asked. "Um... Yes its under the potted plant!" Buffy ran to the front door and lifted the plant only to see dirty, wet concrete. "Uhhh!!" "Dawn!!!"
"I'm going to kill her." "What is she thinking!"
Dawn ran out the back door after she heard Buffy yell, with a backpack full of food and supplies. She locked the door too. Little did Buffy know that before Dawn left she had time to booby trap the house. Dawn ran to the Bronze, only to encounter Willow, Xander and Anya. "Hey Dawny, what are you doing here." Willow said. "Um..I... was just coming... to...see you.. ya that's it, to see you guys. "Oh?"
