IN THE DANGER ROOM:
"Mikie, on the count of three we'll lift this big hunck of metal with our teke powers okay?" Theressa said.
"Okay mom." "
One, two, three."
Suddenly the ship began to rock back and forth. Finally the ship was free. Michel and Theressa joined hands, and rose up as well. They lifted the ship up and out of the danger room and into the beautiful day outside. They put the ship on the fathest end of the estate and made sure no one could see it.
"T, are you in here?" Wolverine asked as he entered the room.
"I'm right here Logan." Theressa said when she and Mikie had landed.
"What's up?" Theressa asked as she and her son walked over to Wolverine.
"Nothin'." He told her.
"Nothing sure sounds like something. A very serious something at the sound of your voice."
"As a matter of fact it is."
"Michel would run along while I talk with Uncle Logan?"
"Let the kid stay T. He needs to hear this just as much as you do."
JUST OUTSIDE THE DANGER ROOM:
Jean was about to go over to the panel and open the door when she noticed that the door was open the door just a little bit. She looked threw it and saw Theressa Mikie and Wolverine.
"Scott, come here." Jean said, motioning Scott to look threw the crack.
INSIDE THE DANGER ROOM:
"I don't know how to say this so I'll try to say it the best I can." Logan took a deep breath and then looked at Theressa.
"T, I am your father." There was along silence but Mikie broke it.
"Uncle Logan is actually my grandpa? Cool! I've got to go tell Andi and Mian!"
Wolverine grabbed Mike by his shirt collar as he ran by.
"Whoa there speedy. It's up to your mom."
"Well, that explaines her attitude." Scott commented. Jean elbowed him in the ribs.
"Ow! What was that for?"
"Shh! I'm trying to listen."
"Oh, great another soap oprea fan."
"What, your not?" Jean said but Scott ignored her.
"T, say somethin'." Logan said when her saw Theressa's scar turn white with shock.
"Um....... Michel run along. I have something I need to do." Theressa said as she lifted herself up and out of the danger room and in to the bright sunshine.
Michel walked out of the danger room but was to excited to notice Jean and Scott easdropping. On the other hand Wolverine seemed to notice and care.
"What are you two doing? How long have you been standing there?"
"Ever since you told Theressa." Scott said.
"Logan, give the girl time." Jean said. Reminding Logan what she had told him when Theressa first joined the X-men.
"She's not going to come to you right off the back. Give her time. She'll come to you again."
"You know as well as I do that I gave up on that along time ago Red. Along time ago."
The last time he said those words he left the danger room with a pain in his gut. This time he was leaving with a pain in his heart.
"Now, if you will excuse me I'm goin' to find the kid." Logan said. He waited for Scott to say his line but it never came.
