"Logan," Chris asked when he saw him in the hall. "do you know where
T, is? I haven't seen her lately."
"She left a few hours ago."
"Left? What do you mean left? What did you say to her?" Chris asked with a hint of an edge in his voice.
"Calm down. I told her what I thought she needed to know. What I still think she needs to know."
"Make a long story short Wolverine. Do you or do you not know where Fox is?"
"I do. She needs time but her time is just about up."
"Logan, if Fox needs time, give her time. Other wise we will have a mess on our hands."
"She still has some time but it ends as soon as I catch up to her."
As soon as Wolverine turned the corner, Andi and Knole came up to Chris.
"Where are you two going, if I may ask?"
"Where going out."
"Okay. Just don't stay up too late. You two have school tomorrow."
"We know and we won't." Knole called back.
Andi turned to Knole as they walked down the hall.
"So, where are we going?" Andi asked.
"It's a surprise. Close your eyes." Andi closed her hazel eyes and put her right hand over her eyes.
"No picking." Knole said as he lead the way.
"I'm not. Can I open my eyes yet?"
"No. Not yet. When I say now." A few more moments passed. They walked threw some door and Andi could swear they where out side.
"Now!" Knole finally said.
When Andi opened her eyes the scene took her breath away. They were in the garden and on the verdanda was a small table set for two. Knole had really gone all out on this one. There was everything from the dinner rolls to the chocolate cheesecake. In the center of the table were two candles for light. The flames were flichering as if they were about to go out but neither flame gave in. Knole led his 'date' to her seat, sat her down, then took his seat.
"You look beautiful tonight." Knole complimented.
"Thank you. The jacket isn't too much is it? Should I have put my hair up?"
"No! No, you look wonderful. So what are we calling this anyway?"
"We could call it a date."
"Then a date it is. What would you like to start with? We have salad, roast, steak, rolls, french bread, garlic bread you name it I probably have it." Andi smiled.
"Salad sounds good." After they had both eaten their salad and had moved on to the steak and broke the silence.
"Could I see your face?" Knole looked up from his plate and looked at Andi. You couldn't see his face at all. it was shaded by his hood to his black cloak.
"No!"
"Why not?"
"You won't like what you see. Trust me Nobody does."
"Maybe some people don't. Why don't you let me be the judge of that?"
Knole lowered his hood to revel a face that had a countless numder of scars. He didn't have a left eye. It must have been taken out and sewed back up. His right eye and hair was a jet black. He had a huge scar going diagonally across his face. For a while no one said anything. Knole broke the silence.
"I should probably go." He put his hood back on, gathered his staff and stood up.
"No! Wait!" Andi said as she grabbed his arm. She sat him back down and pulled his hood back.
"Why? Why should I wait?" Knole asked.
"Because I want to know you better." Andi attmited.
"Why? I'm hideous. I'm like the hunch back of Notra Damn."
"Well, in that case I am your esmerelda."
"But didn't the Jepsey Woman marry the handsome hero?" Knole asked.
"Yeah, well, I'm going to do a little rewritting." Andi said as she leaned in and kissed Knole on the lips.
"Who pushed you?" Knole asked after the kiss.
"No one silly. That was me, all me. No one pushed or shuved or forced me to do anything. I did it because I love you."
"She left a few hours ago."
