Xavier. A voice called. Xavier was in his office when the voice called
out to him in his mind. He turned to face the window behind him.
Lilandra is that you?
"Yes, Charles." Xavier turned back to face the door and he saw his beloved Lilandra coming toward him. She knelt next to him and kissed him romantically.
"What are you doing here?" Xavier asked.
"I am not really here. The image that you see is a hologram that I am projecting. I am coming."
"When?"
"I'm on my way now. It should take me two weeks to get there."
"Why are you coming? Is something wrong?"
"You shall know in good time. Good-bye for now my love." With on last kiss Lilandra was gone. That left Xavier to wonder what his love was up to.
Meanwhile Theressa arrived at the institute.
See, I beat you. I beat you even if you did cheat. Theressa said telepathically as she landed on the steps of the mansion.
It was around six thirty in the morning when Wolverine finally pulled up. Ten minutes had gone by since Theressa arrived. Wolverine got off of the bike and sat next to Theressa on the steps of the Mansion.
"You weren't holding back were you?" Theressa asked.
"No!"
"Are you sure?" Theressa asked as she looked at him in the eyes.
"Well, maybe just alittle." Theressa looked up at the sky and saw a sunrise.
"Do you remember the last time we saw one of those Together Logan?"
"Yeah. You were fifteen and we had just gotten back from finding Tabitha."
Theressa sighed. "It was also before you left for the second time since I had known you."
"Well, I'm not going anywhere any time soon." Logan put his arm around his daughter and she put her head on his shoulder.
They sat in silence for what seemed forever. Theressa had just closed her eyes when she heard Andi's voice.
"Hi mom. Hi gramps." Theressa opened her eyes to see Andi and Knole coming up the walk. Theressa stood to her feet and walked to her daughter.
"Andrea what are you doing up this early?"
"Well mom. Um.... See the truth is......." Andi was cut off by Knole. He had put his hood back on and you could no longer see his face.
"We just got up a few moments ago."
"Really." Theressa said. "If you just woke up a few moments ago then how did you get out here without Logan or I seeing you?"
"We went out the back door." Knole answered.
"All right but don;t stray to far from here." Theressa warned.
"We won't." Andi said as they ran around the back of the mansion.
"What's wrong T?" Wolverine asked when Theressa came back to the steps. Her scar was red.
"I have a feeling that Andrea just lied to me. I'm going to go find out the truth,"
Theressa and Wolverine went inside and shut the door on a beautiful new day.
In back of the house Andi stopped in her tracks.
"Knole why did you lie to my mom?"
"I don't know. I didn't think she would like the truth."
"What the fact that we stayed out all night or the fact that I stayed out all night with a guy?"
"Because I don't think she likes me."
"That's silly. Tell you what I'll talk to her."
Andi Mian said telepathically. Mom's looking for you. She says that she'll meet you in our bed room. I better tell you that she isn't happy.
Andi excused herself and went to the house to find her mother. When Andi opened the door to her room, her mother was sitting on Mian's bed.
"What's up?"
"Sit!" Theressa demanded with an egde in her voice.
"Why did you lie to me young lady?" Theressa asked as she stood in front of the bed that Andi sat on. "Why did you stay out all night when your father told you not to stay up too late?"
"Well, Knole and I were having so much fun that we just lost all sence of time. Techinally I didn't lie. Knole did."
"I didn't see you trying to stop him. In my book that is just as bad as lying yourself. You are grounded for two weeks. No dates with Knole ,no extra outings after school with Amara or Mian. You stay here and do your homework until I call you for dinner. Do I make myself clear?"
"Yes Ma'am." Theressa shut the door and Andi threw herself on her bed and cried herself to sleep.
