"Theressa you are working yourself too hard!" Chris said into the mike.
Chris, Logan, Jean, Scott, Mian, Nethogent and Knole where in the controls and viewing area watching Theressa beat the crud out of an Alien hologram.
"How long has she been going at it?" Scott asked Chris.
"Three days. She won't eat. She won't sleep. She hasn't even stopped for water. Logan and I have been taking turns during the night so one of us can sleep and the other can watch Fox."
"I'm beginning to think that the only way to get her to stop is if we knock her unconsuis." Jean said.
"I can do that!" Logan said. Everyone rolled their eyes. Jean continued.
"If we don't get water in her soon, she's going to pass out."
"I'll go get some water bottles." Scott said.
"No need." Chris said. "We already put some down there but she hasn't touched them. Jean could you..........."
"Say no more." She said as she telekinetically lifted a water bottle and made Theressa see it. Chris shut the program down.
"What did you do that for?" Fox asked.
"You were working yourself too hard." Logan said. "You need a break. Have some water and then you can get back to beating the heck out of the alien scum." Theressa sighed and grabbed the water bottle in front of her and walked out.
"Well, at least we got her to stop." Scott said.
He had something else to say but didn't get a chance to because Xavier contacted them telepathically.
X-men, I need you to come to my office. It is regarding Andrea's disapperens.
"Mian, Nehtogent, Knole," Chris said. "I think it would be best if you would go back to your classes."
"We can't dad. All classes have been cancelled on a count of Andi's abduction."
"Well, go find something to do. Just don't play in here. If your mother comes back and finds someone using the danger room she will go insane."
"Why can't we come?" Mian asked.
"Because kid," Wolverine said. "This job is for the original X-men. You new mutants have never gone up against alien races."
"Fine!" Mian said as she followed Nethogent and Knole out of the room.
When the X-men opened the door to Xavier's office, they saw that Black Fox was all ready there. She was facing Lilandra and Xavier. The surprising thing was that Theressa wasn't screaming her head off.
"Hello X-men. I would like you, Chris, to meet Lilandra. The rest of you all ready know her."
"What is this all about?" Scott asked.
"The last time we saw you it was regarding the Dark Phoenix."
"My presents here Scott has nothing to do with the Dark Phoenix. It is about Nethogent, Knole, and Andrea. You see Nethogent and Knole are POWs of the Shi'ar. I left to retrieve them but when I did Gladiator attempted to beam them up but missed Knole and got Andrea instead."
"Can't you just order Gladiator to return Andi?" Chris asked.
"I've tried already. It appears that Deathbird has claimed my throne and has exiled me. If I go back it will spell death for me and all of those who follow me."
"So what are we suppose to do?" Fox asked. "We can't just sit here and do nothing."
"Fox's right." Jean said. "But how are we going to get there? The Blackbird isn't powerful enough to go into Orbit."
"What about your ship Lilandra?" Wolverine asked. "How many can you fit in your ship?"
"Not very many I'm afraid."
"I thought your ships could carry up to two hundred people." Xavier commented.
"They can but that is the home base. I took one of the escape pods. I can carry one other person, comfortably."
"What if," Chris said. "I go with Lilandra and Scott, Jean, Wolverine and Fox could 'borrow' a shuttle from NASA."
"Sounds like we have a plan." Scott said. "Any objections?" Scott looked right at Wolverine and sure enough he did say something.
"Yeah, Why does Chrissy-boy get to go with Lilandra?"
"Maybe because I'm the father of the girl that we have to rescue!"
"I should go because I am Andrea's GRANDFATHER!" Wolverine unsheathed his claws and Chris fired up his plasma gun.
Theressa jumped in the middle of the two men. Her scar was a fiery, flickering , bright red and had been for many days.
"BOYS!! WE Do Not have time for this stupid little fight! I'm going and that's it. You cry babies settle this NOW! I do NOT want any fighting between you while we are on this mission! Do I make myself clear?"
After Fox was finished she stormed out of the room and Lilandra followed. A few minutes later Fox ran into Mian and Michel.
"Kids, get your suits on! Your coming with me."
"Yes!" Mian said. "Finally we get to go with you guys without having to hide."
Mickey and Mian ran off to their rooms and soon met Lilandra and their mother outside by the Shi'ar escape pod. Lilandra looked confused and finally said so.
"Fox, I thought you said you were going alone?"
"I decided Mian and Mickey need to get out just as much as I do. Besides I wasn't going to take Chris or Logan."
"Why not mom?" Mickey asked as he and mian sat next to their mother's chair up against the wall. Theressa and Lilandra moved to their seats.
"Because Michael. One would feel more important than the other." Theressa shifted her attention to Lilandra.
"Don't worry. We will manage with less space. Trust me. We will manage."
