"What the heck?" Fox said just as Wolverine and the others walked in. Chris, Storm, Jean, Mikie, Nethogent, Mian and Knole took Andi from Theressa and tried to help her. Wolverine, and Scott helped Theressa.
"T, what the heck is going on?" Wolverine asked.
"This woman claims to be my mother. Is that right?"
Wolverine looked at the woman on the far right. It was Silver Fox but how?
"Fox is that you?" Wolverine said as he walked forward. "I thought Sabertooth killed you."
"He ingured me. I wasn't dead when you left that day. I almost died but I didn't thanks to the Shi'ar. I was beamed aboard and my wounds were treated. They offered me a place to stay. That's when I met D'ken. I married him but soon after you and the X-men came to aid Lilandra, My sister-in-law, I fled for my life and found Deathbird, my other sister-in- law. I came back with her."
Silver Fox moved forward to meet Logan. She kissed him and then moved to her daughter. She studied Black Fox from head to toe. She looked at every thing from her blue striked hair to her tattoo on her right arm.
"You did as I asked you Logan. You took care of our daughter as I wished. I am very happy with you. Now, it is time to put her powers and yours to the test."
Suddenly Silver Fox vanished. Theressa turned to Chris and said,
"Get Andi out of.........." But she was cut off when she and Logan vanished as well.
Black Fox and Wolverine reappeared on a Shi'ar battle field. Silver Fox was no where in sight but Wolverine knew she was close.
"Logan, that woman is my mother?"
"Yep. I told you she was mysterious. I just don't understand why she married D'ken. That makes no sense. I thought........ Never mind. Just stay sharp."
Then Silver Fox jumped on Logan's back and then flipped him over. Silver Fox landed on Wolverine and started to choke him. Theressa didn't know who to fire at and then who to shoot at. Finally she decided to fire at her mother. She made sure her lasers were on the lowest setting, stepped forward and fired. Sliver Fox was thrown off of Wolverine and landed a few feet away. Wolverine got up and stood by Theressa.
"Kid are you all right?"
"Yeah, You?"
"Never been better."
Fox got up and had a huge grin on her face.
"Wow!" She said as she walked toward her daughter. "That was better than I expected. I thought you would have my genes and not your fathers."
"Silver Fox, do you know who that was that you captured?" Theressa argued.
"If your talking about the child, I didn't capture her or tortcure her."
"Then who did?" Black Fox answered.
"I can't tell you."
Theressa's scar turned a very, very, very, bright fiery red. Wolverine had never seen her scar that red before. Then again no one had almost killed one of her children before either. Theressa's Psi knife came out and, once again, telekinetically grabbed her dager.
"That girl was your granddaughter." Theressa grabbed her dager with her left hand. "Tell me who did that to my daughter before I kill you! She is probably dead by now!" Black Fox cried at the top of her lungs.
"I can't tell you."
"Fine!"
Theressa threw her dager at Silver Fox but Wolverine intersepted it and took it in the chest. He fell to the ground as dead as a door nail. Theressa ran over to her father, rolled him on to his back, and pulled her dagger out. She knew that in order for Wolverine to heal, the dagger had to be pulled out. Black Fox stood up and with her dagger and psi knife in hand, charged at Silver Fox. She dove and stabbed her mother in the chest with both the dagger and the psi knife. As they hit the ground Silver Fox ripped Theressa's dagger out of her chest and stabbed her daughter. Then she grabbed her handgun and shot Theressa in her gut and in the chest. Theressa went up in the air and landed a few feet away.
When Wolverine woke up he saw his wife and daughter on the ground. The small battle between the woman had ended before it could begin. Wolverine ran to Silver Fox when he saw that she was awake. When he lifted her head, a black circle chip fell into his hand. Wolverine started to curse himself for not thinking that she could have been under control. A smile came on his wife's face.
"You always did have a funny way of saying good-bye."
"No, please not for a second time. I don't .....I can't.....:" Silver Fox lifted her finger to his lips.
"Shh. You did good Logan. Keep it up. She's the daughter that I had always imaganed. I love you with all that I am. I love both of you. Tell her that for me."
"No. You will tell her."
"Logan listen to me. I'm dying." There was a pause before Fox continued.
"Theressa stabbed me in the heart." Silver Fox kissed Logan, took one last breath and then fell limp in her husbands arms. Tears fell down the lone mutant's face uncontrollably. He fell on top of his wife's body and began to weep.
