"What do we do now?" Mian asked as she and Nethogent got on the blackbird with the others.
"We wait for Jean, Chris, Storm, Black Fox and Wolverine to get back." Scott answered as he placed Andi on the floor. Suddenly Andi woke up.
"Knole?" She said weakly. Knole ran to her and held her in his arms.
"I was so scared. I thought you were dead." Knole said.
"Yeah me too." Mian said as she helped her sister in to a seat.
"How do you feel?" Scott asked.
"I feel like I just got hit by a battering ram but other than that I have never felt better. Where's my mom?" She asked.
"Her and Wolverine disappeared with someone named Silver Fox." Scott said. "I just hope they don't get themselves killed."
In the cell room Chris was pacing back and forth when something began to appear.
"Who is that?" Storm asked and Chris answered her.
"It's Logan!" Chris said
When Logan appeared in front of them they saw Theressa in his arms. They saw both gun shot wonds and the dager in her chest. Jean guessed it was also jammed in her heart as well.
"What the heck happened to her? What did you do to her?!?" Chris ran to Logan with his four plasma claws pointed at his throat.
"Killing me won't help T, any. Besides I didn't do it. Her mother did."
Chris removed his claws and looked at his wife's unconscious body. Her scar was no longer red but the white with pain and shock. Chris fell to his knees and screamed and cried. Logan put Theressa's body on the floor and let Chris say good-bye in his own way. Chris reached and pulled the dager out of her chest. Theressa woke up.
"Chris take care of Mian, Andi, and Michel. I love you. Never for get that."
Theressa kissed Chris and was gone. Her scar turned a very pale color along with the rest of her body.
"She's a lot like her mother. Silver Fox said good-bye to me the same way." Logan said as he looked down and up the hall. "Chris I hate to interrupt you but if we don't move we'll be sitting ducks." Jean and Storm, who also had tears in their eyes and on their cheeks, helped chris to his feet and Wolverine grabbed Theressa's body. When they were on the upper level Wolverine looked at the group.
"Any body know how to get the heck out of here?" Jean took her cue and search telepathically for a way to the jet but before she could come up with the answer someone behind them spoke up.
"Are you leaving all ready? The party hasn't started yet." Everyone turned to see Deathbird.
"Now, if that ani't the classic line." Wolverine said. "Jean, take Theressa's body and the three of you get the heck out of here. If I'm not back in three minutes leave with out me."
Jean allowed Chris to carry Theressa and they ran to find the Blackbird.
"You are the one who was controlling my wife!" Logan said with a growl in his voice.
"Who? Oh you must be Silver Fox's human husband. What do you mean controlling I have no idea what you are talking about."
"Maybe this will remind you." Logan said as he chunked the black circle at Deathbird's feet.
"Oh that. D'ken put that on her when he first met her. I only used it."
"You used her you mean. I knew you Shi'ar were bad to the bone."
"Not all of us Logan." Lilandra said from behind Logan.
"Lilandra! Where have you been?" Logan asked.
"Looking for this evil sister of mine. We are going to have to fight our way out of here."
"Just what I've been waiting for."
"Deathbird, give me my crown!"
"Make me."
"My pleasure." Wolverine said as he got his claws out and slapped Deathbird across the face with his left set of claws.
Deathbird fell and Wolverine pinned her to the ground with his right knee and pointed his right set of claws at her head.
"Guards get this monster off of me." Deathbird screamed. When the three guards did move in, Lilandra pulled out her gun.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you. Take one more step and you all die." Lilandra said.
All the guards took a couple of steps back then turned around and ran. Lilandra bent down and grabbed the com-link off of her older sister's equipment belt.
"Gladiator, I need you in the North wing."
A moment later Gladiator appered. "Lilandra?!?"
"Yes, Gladiator I am back and it's Majestrix Lilandra from now on."
"Yes your highness. How may I be of service?"
"Take Deathbird and give her a hand gun, a change of clothes and a week's worth of rations and exile her to the farthest planet from here."
"Yes Majestrix."
Wolverine got off of Deathbird and Gladiator took her and left. Then without a word to Lilandra Wolverine ran off to find the others.
