*A/N* First off I want to say thank you to all the reviewers, I was really nervous about putting my story up but I'm so glad y'all like it and to tessalynne I just may have to use your idea about Paige (muwhahaha). SOMEWHERE IN MEMPHIS
Brenna could not believe her parents, she was twenty-three years old and they still treated her like a kid. She knew it was not the time to be angry at them but after her grandmother's funeral they all but ordered her to come back home to live. It was so unfair, she had lived with Nana for the last three years and now that she was gone, Brenna had planned on staying at the house her and Nana had shared.
"Brenna, this is for the best." her dad said.
"No, this is the best for you guys, damn it Dad I am twenty-three, I am perfectly capable of living on my own."
William, her father, just hung his head as his wife tried to explain why she had to come home but, without telling her is was because she had magical powers that she may not be able to control.
"Brenna, honey, me and your Dad just would like you to stay here with us just for a little while, losing Nana was a huge loss to all of us and I think we should all be together."
"I understand that Mom, I really do but, I don't think I need to stay here, you guys started this as soon as we found out that Nana was ill." Brenna said.
"You are staying her and that is that, I am still your mother."
"The hell I am.." and before she could finish she shimmered out of the room.
"Oh, no.." William started "it has begun." and with that he orbed out after her.
"Damn." Her mom, Cassandra said as she shimmered after the both of them.
