Somehow, Somewhere, Someway
The world faded black, the lights disappearing with every second. He watched from darkness, waiting under the tree line as his prey approached. They followed the song that he weaved from energy to lure them to his prescience. Moonlight failed to pierce the darkness of the woods. Cars passed occasionly from the near by highway, shining light over the two young women.
Stepping off of the back porch, light from the street light over the driveway, shone over her features. The light revealed mid length hair that fell across pale white skin. The auburn of her hair brought out eyes that seemed patched together in various shades of blue and green layers. In her right eye there remained a small red speck. Volumptious and of middling height, she stamped a small foot and tossed the long white sleave of her shirt. The shirt cut low showing a opal that stuck to her chest without aid of any chains or strings. Turning to her companion, she snorted and clenched her teeth as she excitedly exclaimed " I know that Asshole is around here somewhere! I can practically feel his disgusting prescience!"
Energy powered by her emotions rolled painfully through her friend's head, causing her to reply "Calm down Teresa! ..........your making my head hurt." The same height as her friend, she was as lithe as her friend was volumpitous. She pushed a stray lock of dark ash brown hair out of her face. Her hands clothed in black gloves that matched her black jeans, shirt, and boots; all of which was accented by a long black hooded cape that helped her blend into her element, Darkness. A necklace hung around her neck. Its black opal seemed to swirl within itself. Coming into the light beside Teresa, her eyes were revealed as a multi-fauceted jewel of blue, grey, and green. In her right eye was a matching speck of red.
In the passing beam of light, a silhouete of a man stepped out from the woods in their direction. Teresa looked over at her friend and stated, " I told you he was around, Katie. I'm going to kick him straight in the balls!" Pig headly stomping to the figure waiting pactintly in the wood line, Teresa seemed to be ingulfed in fury. Katie looked towards her small yellow home before following her friend determined to keep her out of trouble. As they approached him, the man pulled the hood of his brown cloak away from his face. He towered over the two women by at least a foot. His frame was of medium width, completely muscled. Black hair cascaded down his back as though it was trying to reach for his legs. Porcoline skin made his eyes glow a hypnotizing icy blue. Pointed ears broke the black hair around his face. BOOM!
Sitting straight up Katie looked over from the couch towards Teresa who was laying on the floor also awake. Searching the room Katie found her husband, Dan, looking sheepishly over a computer tower that had crashed onto the floor.
