Warning: Shounen-ai. Incest. Don't like, don't read. *No flame.*
Note: Thank you for reviewing the first chapter. I love you all! And yes, I think Sasuke make a nice uke. XD Though he could be a protective seme if you pair him with Naruto, I still prefer him as an (unwilling) uke. *evil grin*
This story could be considered as Alternate Universe since it happened just after the second chuunin exam. Yeah, then I don't have to worry about Akatsuki...yet. (Maybe in later chapters.) Pure ItaSasu for this chappie. :)
Chapter II: Memories
Sasuke slowly lifted his heavy eyelids. He felt weak and exhausted as he tried to sit up. His wrists and ankles hurt from his struggling against the chain earlier, they had stopped bleeding, though. Someone had bandaged the wounds...someone he didn't expected to show up. Uchiha Itachi. His older brother. Sasuke took a deep breath, eyeing the bandages carefully. They were neatly wrapped. This reminded him of those times, when he was still a little kid, whenever he came home wounded or got hurt, his brother was the one taking care of him. He sighed and lied back on the floor. Tatami floor...it seemed so familiar...
Sasuke's eyes widened as he first realized his surrounding--he was at the old Uchiha's residence, his old home. He then looked around the room. Here, he remembered, was his old room. Everything hadn't changed after he had left. Leaving because he couldn't stand staying in the house with so much memories. It hurt him...deeper than any wound would. The memories that sometimes he wished he could just forget. Yet coming back here, lying on his favorite tatami floor, seeing the old things around did stirred those memories. They flowed endlessly like a roaring stream, flooding his mind.
He could hear the laughter they shared, those soothing words his older brother always said whenever he cried. He remembered how proud he was to have a brother like him. How much he used to love his brother and how hard he tried to be like him. It would be really good if he could relive those memories.
But memories are memories, you cannot call back what has already passed, right?
He had grown up hating his brother for what he did. He had become stronger for the one and only reason: to kill Itachi and avenge his clan. Yet his brother was still stronger than him. The encounter with Orochimaru was a good proof...
~Flashback~
Orochimaru was quite taken aback at whom he saw but it was only a second before that trademark creepy smile made its way back to his lips. "It has been quite a long time, Itachi-kun."
Itachi didn't reply, his face was expressionless as ever but his eyes spoke it all for him. Burning anger. The shade of the Sharingan turned reddest of the red shade they ever had--like unflickering fire.
"Hmm...Sharingan...very beautiful..." The psychotic sennin's smile widened as he pulled the three shurikens embedded in his arm out, paying no attention to the blood that gushed out from the cut--he didn't even wince. "You two brothers are really fascinating. Really, Itachi-kun, I don't mind sharing your dear little brother with you. It'll be much more fun that way." The sennin said, licking his lips at the idea. That, was when the last string snapped. Itachi charged forward with a kunai, so swiftly that even Sasuke's Sharingan could hardly see what happened. Unfortunately, Orochimaru wasn't a legendary sennin for nothing...
Clash!
The kunai was easily stopped by the sennin's long sword 'Kusanagi', which just came out of his mouth with that extraordinary long tongue. That disgusting tongue, it was quite scary to think of what that tongue could do had the older Uchiha arrived just a few minutes late. "This is all you can do? I'm so disappointed, Itachi-kun." Orochimaru sneered.
Itachi glared. And flicking his wrist, he let go of the uneffective kunai, using his leg to send Orochimaru flying across the room as his hands prepared for a spell . Yet the sennin landed smoothly on his feet, the smile unwavering. It wouldn't be that easy to defeat him but...
Why does he care so much for his little brother when he is the one who assassinated the entire Uchiha clan? A sudden question popped in the sennin's head. This is quite interesting to find out. Yes, and he had decided.
"Alright, Itachi-kun. I'll back off this time." he said before the older Uchiha could complete the seal, swallowing back in his throat the Kusanagi. Both Uchiha had the same puzzled look on their face at the sudden change of his heart. How cute. Then he turned to the boy restrained to the wall. "Sasuke-kun, I'm looking forward to our next meeting. You're mine, remember that." With that, the snake-like man disappeared from the sight with a puff of smoke.
That left the two Uchiha brothers together. Itachi stared at the space where Orochimaru once was for a while before he moved to unchain his brother. When the chain was gone, Sasuke fell to the cold marble floor for his legs couldn't support him. The sudden light head didn't help either. The last thing he saw before the darkness consumed him was...the face of the man he learned to hate most in this world.
~End Flashback~
Why did Itachi help him? Sasuke asked himself. It was so confusing. If he wants to make my life a living hell, why didn't he let Orochimaru have his way with me? The more he thought about it, the more he was confused. Those old time memories just couldn't stop interfering...
"I love you, Aniki!" The younger form of him said that as he clung desparately to his older brother's arm, for he didn't want to let go, fearing that if he did, his older brother was going somewhere again. It seemed Itachi had just come back from a week-long mission. He was dirty and covered in mud all over. Other than that he seemed just fine. Itachi smiled warmly, patting his head "I love you too, Sasuke. But can youlet me take a bath first?"
Itachi told him he loved him...
..."Foolish little brother, you're not worth killing. *Hate* me. Become stronger and avenge the clan if you can"...
...And then told him to hate him.
Why? I don't understand.
His head was filled with the 'why' questions so much that it began to throb, giving him a bad headache. Sometimes it was better to stop thinking. Sometimes he wished everything could turn back to the way it used to be. And he wouldn't have to think and suffer this much...
Sasuke's train of thought was cut off when he heard the sound of water splashing. The sound was faint but he could make out the direction it came from. The backyard. He remembered there was a beautiful lake there, behind this house and it happened to be Itachi's favorite spot. He remembered that sometimes his brother would sit there, observing the scenery silently. No one knew what he had been thinking back then. Well, no one knew what he was thinking, ever.
With a little difficulty, Sasuke stood up. Still, he didn't know whether he should get out there or not, for he wasn't sure himself of what to do. Kill him? Even if he had the gut to do so, he didn't have enough energy left and it was clearly proven that Itachi was still the stronger one. Try a peaceful talking? No. Sasuke mentally shook his head. That would be the silliest thing ever. Maybe I should just stay here. Yet his feet, his traitorous feet, began pacing toward the direction as another soft splash shattered the silence.
It didn't take long to get there despite his legs' condition.
The lake was there, before him, surrounded by the shadows of the trees around. Those pink sakura petals fell lightly upon its crystal surface that reflected the starless night sky, where only the waxing moon shone with all its might. It was such a beautiful sight...
The little boy tightened his grip around his older brother's arm, denying stubbornly to let go. "No, Aniki! I want to be with you!" The older one sighed in defeat. "Then, let's have a bath together, shall we?" he said. And the little boy smiled...
Yet nothing could be compared with the figure solemnly standing there.
There, before him, was Uchiha Itachi standing in all his glory as the silver moonlight bestowed its gentle caress upon his alabaster skin that seemed to glow like the moonlight itself. Those long black locks weren't tied into a ponytail but hung loose pass his shoulder and ended just slightly above his waist. And although Itachi was rather slim, he was well muscled. Sasuke swallowed hard, finding himself unable to take his eyes off the figure before him.
Itachi's sharp eyes didn't miss the arrival of the younger Uchiha. He half-expected the boy to attack him. He didn't. The boy just stood there, staring at him. The scence was very familiar...
The older boy got into the warm water, letting his tense muscles relaxed. He then noticed that the little boy was still standing out of the tub, looking at him hesitantly. It was the first time they shared a bath and his little brother was quite shy. Itachi gave the boy a reassuring smile and reached an arm out, gesturing the boy to join him. The boy looked at the hand, blinked a few times before he finally caught it...
Sasuke snapped out of his trance when Itachi did the most unexpected thing. He reached an arm out as if asking him to join. Just like that time. Why was he acting like this? Like nothing had happened, nothing had changed. Didn't he tell him to 'hate' him? His head began throbbing once again as his common sense battling with old time memories. It hurt so much that he wanted to stop thinking.
Maybe it would be better to stop thinking.
And having decided, The younger Uchiha undressed himself with the speed of lightning and caught his brother's offering hand. Itachi was surprised, for he didn't really expect Sasuke to do so. But after he had recovered from that, which was only a few seconds, the corner of his lips lifted up a bit--it might have been a smile had it lasted a little while longer, and he yanked Sasuke into the water.
Splash!
The younger boy returned to the surface a minute later, soaking all over. He had only a brief moment to take in a breath before he was pushed back under the surface by his brother. He felt a sting in his wrists and ankles when the said organs made contact with water. Yet it was no great pain to prevent him from dragging Itachi down with him. When both of them returned to the surface, the long lost sound rang through the forsaken residence. Laughter. It was something they hadn't done for a long while. And they start to play, like little kids, splashing water in each other's face. It was good to relive those memories again. Yet none of them dared to speak, for they feared this reality would faded like a dream.
Both brother continued their little fight, splashing water into each other's face. It seemed no one was going to back off that easily...until Sasuke's legs started to give way that he had to find something for support, which happened to be...his own brother. Itachi lost his balance and...
Sasuke fell right back against a large boulder, which was fortunately right behind. Itachi fell right on top of him. Their faces were close. *Dangerously* close that he could see his own reflection in the other's blood red orbs. Those long dark locks tickled his face. He could feel the other's warm breath against his cheek. He could hear his heartbeat. Never before, as he recalled, had he remembered Itachi being *this*close to him. Heat crept up the younger Uchiha's smooth cheeks, painting the pale shade with rose-red.
Damnit, Uchiha Sasuke! What the hell is wrong with you!? He's your brother for god's sake!
Itachi smirked as he saw the red tinge graze his brother's porcelain cheeks. He could kiss the boy here and now if he chose to. It was something he had wanted for a long time. It was sinful and forbidden yet so tempting. But what would Sasuke think of him, he wondered. Finally, the older Uchiha made his decision. He leaned in closer to his little brother…
TBC ~ I'll leave it here. Evil? *laugh evilly and maniacally*
Gods, first I thought I like Sasuke-kun but now I'm falling for Itachi-sama as well. Uchiha and their charming spell...now I've developed an obsession for them both. *drool* *scream* *die* (That means it'll take sometimes for the next chapter because my sister has to find a way to revive me.)
