Winry Rockbell groaned as the storm outside continued, she clutched her mug harder. How long was this rain going to continue, she thought. Meanwhile, Aphonse Elric watched the blonde girl stare intensely outside the window. It's been a year since they found the Philosopher's Stone, Al was eventually back in his body. His brother chose to stay with his auto-mail, finding it easier with missions.

Winry eventually backed away from the window and sat down on one of the chairs beside Al. Ed was supposed to come visit today, but in this weather it wasn't possible. So Al and Winry were left to stay at home with nothing to do. Winry sipped more of her tea, enjoying the comfortable silence between them. Only the storm, and the sipping of tea was heard in the room. Al struck a conversation up, breaking the silence.

"Winry, do you remember what we used to do if it was raining?" he asked quietly, almost a whisper. She nodded with a small smile, "We played outside."

Al smiled with her, "We always got scolded afterwards though." Winry laughed, "It was all Ed's fault though." At the mention of Ed's name, the conversation quieted. After some uncomfortable silence, Winry spoke up. "Let's do it again." Al looked at her confused,"In a storm?" Winry nodded. Al smiled, "Okay."

Al placed his mug on the table as Winry did the same. Then they went outside to the pouring rain, being completely soaked.

Winry laughed, she remembered the first time doing this with the boys. It was so much fun, if only Ed was here. Then everything will be complete. She watched as Al smiled through the rain, "Why are you smiling like that?" she asked.

"I missed it. The feeling of water, I mean." He replied. A wave of nostalgia came across the two. "What else did you miss?" Winry asked softly. And Al replied, "Mostly everything. The feeling of lying down on the grass, tears, and even nii-san's practice kicks on me."

Winry laughed again. She came closer to Al, grabbing his hand. "You mean, you don't miss that one time?" Al blinked, "What do you mean?" Winry smiled softly, "What I mean is, you don't miss our first kiss?"

Even though it was hard to see in the rain, the blush on Al's cheeks could not be ignored. Winry laughed, "It was when we were eight remember?" Al smiled, he did miss it. "Yeah, I missed it."

This time it was Winry's turn to blush, "Should I.. should I give you another one?" She asked shyly. She expected Al to blush, but instead he said, "No, I think I should give you one." And so he leaned to her face, closing the distance between them. The kiss was soft, an innocent kiss. Much like the one he gave her when they were eight, only with more passion.

So Alphonse Elric and Winry Rockbell stood in the rain kissing. Not knowing that someone was watching them, grinning all the while. Edward Elric would never pass a chance to see his best friends, or at least see his best friends kissing.

Short fic. Was supposed to be a lemon, but I didn't have the heart to do that. Mush fics always make up for them, ne? That small, tingly feeling that you have after you read some waffy fic.
