This is the first time I've tried posting poetry up here! I would enjoy reviews and feedback! THis poem is one of Aragorn as a ranger, making his way home. Enjoy!

'The Lonely Ranger'
BabeyRachey '04

Huddling from the cold
Lips blue and fingers stiff
Cloak wrapped tightly around the heatless body
Never would anyone see
A figure so humble yet proud
A wisp of dignity still clinging to him yet
His tattered clothes
And his travel-stained cloak
He demands the respect of a royal
Never have I seen
A figure so bold or meek
Someone who demands respect in the lowest of times
His scars prove his battles
His eyes prove his longing
His heart is fragile and wounded from war
Yet he will see through it
He demands it of himself
And his will, it will see him to the end
But his soul is young
And craves a loving touch
And his desire will bring him home.
His heart will heal
His clothes be mended
He will be warm when he reaches his goal
His will is set
His heart is yearning
He will find his way back home.
Away from the battle
Away from the hunger
He will not be a wanderer anymore.
