Disclamer: I loved the movie of this and thought I'd write what I think the
boys reactions to the cigar would have been.
The Cigar Scenario,
Louis knew it had been stupid but couldn't bare to seem chicken infront of Chulalong'con so he'd done it. He'd smoked the stupid cigar and now he felt sicker than he'd ever felt in his life. Luckily Chulalong'con didn't seem to be fairing much better as his tanned face had gone rather pale.
"That was...nice" Louis managed to utter.
"Are you joking? That was disgusting!" Chulalong'con nearly shouted. Louis sighed in relief.
"It was wasn't it" he said quietly, before his stomach heaved and he pressed a hand to his mouth. "I think I'm going to be sick!" he groaned before running off as fast as he could. Chulalong'con made a sound of agreement and dashed off in the other direction. Louis stopped outside their tent and threw up into a bush.
"Louis! Whatever is the matter?!?" Anna Leonowens asked worriedly as she rushed to her son, catching him by the shoulder's.
"Nothing" Louis said quickly, remembering how much his mother had disagreed with the King about offering Louis a cigar in the first place. Anna smiled knowingly and led him inside.
"You had a cigar didn't you?" she asked him kindly, and at his shocked and surprised look she laughed. "I knew you would, you always have to try everything. But now you know why I told you not to" she said as she undid his shirt.
"Will I stop growing now?" Louis asked worriedly.
"What?" Anna asked laughing as she put the shirt on a chair and pulled Louis night shirt from the bed.
"Earlier you said that smoking would stop me growing, I don't want to stop growing" Louis said, obediently lifting his arm's up for his mother to pull the shirt over his head.
"Not if you only had one puff, I don't think that should effect you any more than making you feel sick for a while" Anna said, playfully pinching his cheek before helping him take off his boot's and trousers and get into bed.
"It was all his idea" Louis said sadly, causing Anna to laugh merrily.
"Just because Prince Chulalong'con jump's off a bridge doesn't mean you must Louis. Now get some sleep" she said, gently kissing his forehead before tucking him in and turning off the light by his bed.
"Goodnight mother" Louis said before rolling onto his side and closing his eyes.
