The Big Bang
Vash the Stampede. The 60 billion double dollar man. The Humanoid Typhoon. Every man's dream is to catch him, but everyone who has, has failed. Vash's story continues. He's walking through the forest, with the two insurance women not far behind. They have been following him for almost six months. The women's names are Maril and Millie.
"Maril, I'm hungry," proclaimed Millie.
"So am I, but you don't here me complaining," answered Maril. "Say, wasn't the closest inn supposed to be around here somewhere."
They walked into a clearing where they spot a gang of rouges heading in their direction.
"Millie, come on. We have to run," Maril said in a whisper.
"Don't you two ever stop following me everywhere I go?" a question popped from behind them.
They turned around slowly with fear on their faces. There they saw Vash hanging upside-down on a vine.
"You know you should be more careful," Maril said through grinding teeth. "You never know when a vine may break."
Before she said break, She cut the vine with a knife. Vash landed smack on his head. As he sat up, you could see a huge bump on his head.
"What was that for? That really hurt ya know," Vash complained.
"FOR SNEAKING UP ON US, YOU MORON!" Maril screamed. "Anyways, we should get out of here. We saw a gang of bandits heading over here. I'll give you a box of those doughnuts you love and ten double dollars if you beat them up," Maril said with a charm in her voice.
"The offer was scary," Vash said worrily, "but I'll take the job, ladies!"
"You'll do anything for those doughnuts, won't you, Mr. Vash?" Millie piped up. "In that case, I've got five boxes of doughnuts just for you!"
She handed him the doughnut and he shoved one box in his mouth and ate them, and so forth and so forth. Maril and Millie ran and hid in a tree. They watched Vash walk out meeting the bandits face-to-face. They started to talk indistinctly. Neither Maril nor Millie knew what they were talking about until Vash pulled out his pistol. They were after Vash.
"Hey, Maril. Do you think that Mr. Vash might need back-up?" Millie asked.
"He might later on," Maril replied, "but not now."
Vash started to pull the trigger and when he pulled it all the way back, there weren't any bullets in it. He tried to shoot a couple of times, but no bullets came out. He opened the chamber to find that there weren't, in fact, any bullets. Vash screamed out loud and started to walk away until the bandits shot at him. Maril's face went pale as she reached into her pocket and pulled out the bullets to Vash's gun. She had a flashback of why she had them in her pocket.
