Upon White Shores
Written by: Stephanie Donjon
Autumn leaves bear crimson red,
Their trees hath let them fall.
Now we find ourselves as well,
Must heed another call.
Return home to your loved ones,
Hold them dear to your heart.
Though I journey alone now,
We are never truly apart.
Every moment of each day,
Long hours beside me spent,
Your hope and spirit kept me alive,
Down every path we went.
Now as our journey comes to end,
We approach a fork in the road,
Taking with us nothing more
Than our precious mem 'ries to hold.
Now it comes to a fond farewell,
Although 'tis not the end.
For where one path seems to exuent,
Another does begin.
Goodbye, my dear companion,
My trusting, guiding friend.
I'll be waiting upon white shores,
Until we meet again.
