It's my first day of junior high today. Nothing to worry about though I'm sure. I've got my lunch and my pens, and I've got my parents walking me to the gate. Sure, our family has some. irregularities, but whose doesn't right? And it's not like I could get picked on for long, what with my folks being in the FBI and all. That orta shut up any smart aleks who feel like commenting. Yeah... this is gonna be fine...

Right, a hug each and them I'm in. Jesus! They look more worried than I feel. Gotta calm them down. Smile. Right I think that came out reassuring, although I'm afraid it may have been a little more nervous than intended. Anyway, gotta go now, the teachers coming out, I should line up with the others. One last look back before I take the plunge. Ooh, I think they're doing even worse than I did at the reassuring thing. Right, Go. Walk over there and join the line. She's calling a register, gotta pay attention for my name.
