"Hello Merric", George said gravely. His face showed no emotion but a little wrinkle by his eye that grew as her couldn't suppress the laughter any more.
"Hullo!" Merric smiled as he realized George wasn't upset with him. Alanna was another story. She was fuming.
"WHY were you spying on us?" She said as she looked at Merric.
"Well you see Lioness I didn't mean too but..." His voice trailed off as Alanna looked at him with an evil stare. The stare was enough to make any one obey the Lioness' command.
"Did you think it was FUNNY? Or did you just seem to be passing by just like every one else that comes by."
"Well you see the new training master, Kito, is teaching us some spying techniques and we are supposed to practice."
"Well do it somewhere else!"
"Yes Lioness" Merric stammered before running off into the bushes trying to get as far away from them as possible.
