Last Few Days chapter 2
Fears don't go away
"Do you think they'll be dissapointed that I came along?" Camer asked as they sat down on the plane.
"Camer, why in the world would they mind? We're best friends, and who knows how long it's been since we last saw each other?" Sally buckled her seatbelt. She then took out her communicator and dialed in Sonic's hut number.
"You can't be without him for a day can you?" Camer said staring out the window. Sally stuck out her tongue out at her.
"I just wanna tell them we got here safe and sound." The communicator screen clicked on.
"Sal!" Sonic almost yelled.
"Hey Sonic. Just comin up to tell you that we got here just as I said, perfectly fine, All that worrying for nothing blue hog." Sally smiled.
"I still don't understand why I couldn't have taken you guys there on foot. Isn't it nerve wrecking being in something you have no control over?" Camer squeezed the sides of her seat tightly.
"It's a whole new experience for us, it feels great! Besides, you're willing to run more that halfway across the planet just to drop us off at Vixenas?" Sonic pouted.
"We'll be there in an hour, kay hedgie? We'll call you then." Camer explained. The plane's engines started to roar.
"Gotta go Sonic, Talk to ya later." Sally motioned a kiss and hung up.
"Please fasten your seatbelts at this time. Do not remove safey belts during take off." the pilot told the passeneger as they started to move. Sally noticed how tightly Camer was holding on to her seat.
"Camer, this like what, our third plane today? Shouldn't you be over this fear?" Sally asked eating a peanut.
"Sally, fears don't just go away! I'll never get used to this thing." Camer trembled.
The plane went faster and faster until it rose up in the air greeting the black clouded sky. Sally looked the window and saw lightening streaks light up the sky. She closed it quickly before Camer could catch a glimpse.
"We might be experiencing some turbulence soon, please remain calm." Once he stopped talking, the plane gave a quick jolt, blasting many forward in their seats, and left the rest trembling.
The plane shook harder and harder every second, making Camer more frightened, and Sally more worried.
