Chapter 1
After the Battle
They had finally defeated Naraku. Kagomi was going to have to go back to her normal time. They were all standing at the entrance to the well that Kagomi had came though. There were tears in Shippo's eyes. Kagomi herself was close to tear. Over the time that she had been here in the feudal era she had grown a bond to all of the friends she had made here…some more than others. She wanted so badly to tell him how she felt and to stay here with him with all of them, but that wasn't how it was suppose to be. She started said her individual goodbyes to each of saving him for last.
"Goodbye Sango," tears filled her eyes, "I'll miss you. I really well. I'm so glad you got your little brother back that's so great. I wish I could say I'll keep in contact but that's impossible isn't it…" She turned her face toward the ground, and a tear rolled off her cheek.
"I'll miss you too, Kagomi," Sango smiled sadly at her, "You know it's gonna be weird around here with out you. Your just so positive. I'll miss you happy face." She leaned forward and hugged Kagomi.
"Yeah, Kagomi. We'll all miss you," Miroku said as he tried to cut in on their hug but Kagomi pulled quickly away.
"I wouldn't miss you being such a pervert, Miroku," she said as she turned to Shippo and knelt to his level. "I'll miss you too Shippo. You are so Kawaii. I gonna leave you some potato chips but make them last ok."
"Oh Kagomi. I'll miss you too." Shippo start to cry again and his word faded off. Kagomi hugged Shippo Good bye as well. Well it was final time for her to say goodbye to him. Oh how she didn't want to.
"Well I guess it's goodbye Inuyasha," she said. She really wanted to tell him how she felt but she was so scared she didn't want rejection.
"Look, Kagomi. I want to tell you something t tell you. I um…. Can we be alone please?" he looked over at the rest of the group. Understanding they walked away to leave Kagomi and Inuyasha alone. He now turned back to Kagomi and continued. "Well um… I don't hate you actually like you. What I mean is I love you a lot, and I just wanted you to know that before you left."
"I love you too," she said. Her voice was very shaky. She didn't expect this she didn't even expect much of a goodbye.
"I'll find you in the future. Remember I well live forever. So I'll find you." he grabbed her by the shoulders and kissed her.
"I love you Inuyasha. I know I'll see you again." she said as tear gathered in her eyes. "Goodbye Inuyasha."
"Goodbye Kagomi," he said. "I just want to let you know I well find you again I promise."
