My Neighbor, the Big Scary Bunny Type Thing

Mei, the tiny five year old Japanese slayer, tugged on Xander's hand, but he wouldn't move.
"See?"
"Yes, I see."
The thing was at the very least twenty feet tall, with soft gray plush fur and a patch of beige covering its chest from where its neck ought to have been to its legs. It scratched at its side with four foot long claws, and twitched it's broom handle whiskers. Its eyes widened, and it opened its mouth, showing an impressive set of glistening white, tombstone teeth, and it roared.
Xander shuddered.
"Anya, honey, wherever you are, I finally understand."
