Chapter One – Tha Arrival
Albus Dumbledor sat behind his desk and moved his gaze from the rain outside to the man sitting infront of him.
"One more week, just one more week and you'll have a new lot of First Years to teach, Severus," he said, smiling at the look on the Potions Masters face.
"I almost forgot, Albus, thank you so much for reminding me," replied Severus sarcasically. Just as he was about to take a sip of his tea there was a weak knock on the door followed by the sound of something hitting the floor. Severus stood, moved over to the door and opened it. There on the ground was a motionless figure wrapped in a black cloak, soaked through with rain. Severus knelt and pushed the hood back to reveal a female face framed by platinum blonde hair.
"Pick her up would you, Severus?" said Dumbledore, moving towards them, "we should get her to the Hospital Wing." Severus nodded, dried her off with a spell, then gently picked her up and followed Dumbledore out of the room.
The two men stood at the foot of the bed looking down at the stranger, now clad in pajamas thanks to Madame Pomfrey.
"I wonder how she got here," said Severus, "and why?"
"Well it looks like we'll find out in a moment," replied Dumbledore moving a chair beside the bed ad sitting. The girl blinked twice before quickly sitting up, through she
