Disclaimer: I don't own Digimon or the song 'Foolish Pride'.

She stayed up all night and cried into her pillow
And fought off the urge to just break down and call

The memories of the fight swam in Kari's head as her hot tears drifted
over her cheeks before dropping to the pillow.

Last night to find the fault seemed so darn easy
But now who's to blame don't matter much at all

She had thought she was right, that the argument was worth fighting
over. But now it seemed completely pointless. What could be worth
this?

She thinks if she calls him it just shows weakness

Kari grabbed for the cordless phone, dialing the first six numbers,
hesitated, then turned it off, dropping it to the floor for the
millionth time. I'm right... he should call me. Right?

So the hurt goes on with every tear she's cried

Kari buried her face into her pillow again, letting the tears fall.
She couldn't stand to lose him, but she refused to give in.

Ain't it sad to see a good love fall to pieces?
Chalk another heartbreak up to foolish pride

Turn out the lights the competition's over
The stubborn souls are the losers here tonight
And while the bridges burn, another hard-hard lesson's learned
As in the ashes passion slowly dies
And this romance goes down to foolish pride

He relives every word they spoke in anger
He walks the floor and punches out the wall

TK paced in his room, shaking his head sadly, trying to forget her
enraged words. It's such a stupid argument...

To apologize to her would be so simple
But instead he cries "I'll be damned if I'll crawl"

Though he knows that, he refuses to listen to reason. TK tossed the
phone onto his bed, stopping his pacing to stare at it, as if that
will make it ring.

If he loses her he's lost his best friend
And that's more then just a lover can provide

Tearing his gaze from the phone, he looks over at a picture of them
together. He knew he loved her. They were more than boyfriend and
girlfriend. They were a team. He never would have survived without
her.

So he wrestles with emotions that defeat him

He knew he should call her. No argument was worth losing her. But
somehow he couldn't bring himself to do it.
