Disclaimer: I do not own Ranma ½
A/N: This is something I thought of this morning. I hope you like it. I still don't have the whole story thought up yet, so if you could review that would be helpful.
A Rude Awaking
Chapter one
Ryoga's POV:
I woke up, just like normal. I went to sit up, when I felt something on me. I looked down to see a head of long black hair. She lifted her head and smiled at me.
"Good morning sweetie," she said as she gave me a kiss of the check and got out of bed and walked out. I sat up in my new bed to view the surroundings. I'd never seen this place before. The lady that was in my bed waked back in with two bowls of rice.
"Are you okay," She asked handing me a bowl of rice.
I took and replied. "Where am I?" She looked at me in disbelief.
"You're Ryoga am I'm your wife Kamiya. This is our apartment where we live together. You work as a martial arts teacher for the Tendo Dojo that is run by my best friend Akane and her husband Ranma, and I work as a waitress for the Cat Cafe. Hello....2014 Tokyo, Japan," she said sarcastically as she walked out of the room.
I lied back in bed and thought about what I'd heard. "At least my wife's pretty, but I still don't have Akane. I have a really odd job....I wonder if I'm still a pig?"
I was able to find what looked like my work clothes to put on. I looked in the mirror, and wasn't surprised. I still looked very much like I did 10 years ago, only more mature. I wondered what had happen to me that would cause me to miss 10 years of my life. Kamiya came back into the room dressed for work.
"Is mister amnesia ready to go to work?" She asked.
"I guess, how do I get their?"
"You take the bus."
"Where's the bus stop?"
"Outside the apartment, oh yeah we're room 140 incase you forgot that too."
I stared at her dumbfounded. The town had probably changed since I'd had last seen it and with my sense of direction I knew I would miss work. Kamiya sighed as she put down her bag and picked up the phone.
"I'll call in to work sick, I guess what ever you have is pretty serious."
Akane's house still looked the same as it did 10 years ago. I began to feel afraid of what my friends would look like. I wonder if Akane still looks as pretty as she did 10 years ago.
"Well, are you going to go in?" Kamiya said gesturing me to the door. I swallowed as I opened it. Some weird lady with long hair tied back by a bandana said hello to me and Kamiya.
"Why Kamiya, what are you doing here?" she asked
"Ryoga's got amnesia I think, but I don't know how. I'm pretty sure he remembers you Akane,"
"Akane" I thought. She looked completely different. I wasn't attracted to her any more, but she wasn't ugly.
"You have to remember me Ryoga," Akane said.
"Of course I remember you Akane," I said casually.
"You remember her, but not your own wife," Kamiya said giving me the evil eye.
I smiled and laughed, "The last thing I remember was when I was 16, and I was spending the night here since I didn't want to go home."
"Interesting," Akane replied "Hey I'll go find Ranma. You'll be in for a shock." Akane left in search of Ranma.
