Hello its me...again...and this is my second fanfic!! It's an Inu Yasha one-shot and if you read the summary you probably know that so on with the fic!!
Disclaimer- I-I-I-I don't own Inu...Inu Yasha and sniff co. cries WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH...I can't believe I said that!!!
Inu Yasha woke up with a start. His heart was racing and he was sweating like crazy.
He had had a night mare...he woke up with such a start that he was surprised he hadn't fallen off of the tree branch he had been sleeping on.
He couldn't really remember the dream very well but he did remember that it had to do with Kagome.
Searching his memory he remembered some of what had happened in the nightmare.
In it he was at a burial and when he came to see who had been buried...it was Kagome.
In the dream someone had blamed Inu Yasha for her death...him not being able to protect her from Naraku and Naraku killed her.
That was all he could remember from the dream.
He went down to where Kagome was sleeping. She looked peaceful enough...he sat down next to her.
When he did she stirred a little and slowly her eyes opened.
"Inu Yasha what are you doing here??" she asked innocently.
"I...uh...I was...um...just checking to...uh...see if...um...I heard a sound and I was...um...checking it out...that's all" Inu Yasha stuttered.
"Ooooooooooook" said Kagome questionable.
"Yah and since there isn't anything here I guess I'll be going back to bed now'
"Ok Inu Yasha...good night"
"Feh" said Inu Yasha as he turned around and started walking back to the tree he was originally sleeping.
"Oh and Inu Yasha"
Inu Yasha stopped and turned around "What??"
"Thanks" she said.
"Feh" he said and went back to the tree.
About 20 minutes later Inu Yasha came down from the tree and to where Kagome was sleeping.
He kneeled down beside her and this time she didn't stir.
(Which sucked because Inu Yasha had an excuse this time...he thought one up and I'd tell you but its not that important.)
He quietly kissed her on the lips and went back to bed.
But not before whispering "I love you Kagome"
When he was sleeping Kagome opened her eyes and smiled "I love you to Inu Yasha"
She was awake that whole time...and guess what...Inu Yasha knew that!!
