Crossing over
I swear, I must be obsessed with Evanescence, because here's ANOTHER angst
song-fic...But this one is a little Umi one that I'm dedicating to my friend:
I miss you, my beautiful Ferio-kun, and you know who you are...

"UMI! HOLD ON!" cried Clef as he picked Umi up in his arms, dry blood
regenerating, down from her chest and throat, the rain washing it away,
staining her clothes shades of maroon, "Playground score boundaries...again
Rain clouds come to play... again..." 'Clef?' Umi whispered, though her lips didn't move as darkness surrounded
her. Then a voice rang though her mind that sounded oddly like her own, 'he
can't hear you...'
"Has no one told you she's not breathing...hello?
I'm your mind giving you someone to talk to...hello?"
'Who are you? Show yourself!' she cried, before the darkness lifted, and
saw a bruised, beaten up and bloody girl in a man's arms, her eyes closed
and lips slack. Her eyes widened, before shutting them tight, her fists
balling,
'That's me...no! It can't be! This is just a dream! A horrible nightmare!'
"If I smile and don't believe,
Soon I know I'll wake from this dream..."
Fuu's voice echoed though out her mind, distraught from hurt, "We have to
heal her!" a blur of bright green light filled Umi's eyelids, burning the
retinas, before Umi opened them again, seeing her body, Clef give her mouth-
to-mouth, though the blood gone and bruises faded, She didn't seem to be
waking.
"Don't try to fix me, I'm not broken...hello?"
Fuu wept tears of sadness, the rain washing them away, "Why can't I do
anything?"
Umi tried waving her arms in front of her, 'Fuu! Fuu, I'm alright, see?
Look at me!' and realised her hands were transparent.
"I'm the lie, living for you so you can hide, don't cry..."
She blinked, before looking down on her limp body, held in strong arms.
Clef declared something, which echoed and wracked her entire body,
repeatedly, putting her arms around her body's waist and sobbed, before
fading away completely, "I'm still here, all that's left of yesterday..."
I don't know why, but I like writing some angst when I'm sad...And I'm sorry about Dynasty sisters, I'm really stuck ;
