I don't own Csi. Wish I did other wise they would to be together a long
time ago.
Grissom was sitting in his office listing to the radio when a song came on by Jamie O'Neal. He sat there thinking of the only female he ever cared about really. And that was Sara. He closed his eyes and could see Sara singing the song to him. Unknown to him was that Sara had the radio on and the same song was playing. But she was singing it out load thinking of Grissom.
A family that loves me More friends then I can count Got that job I always wanted Nothing to complain about I know I've got so much going Still I've got so much gone
The only thing wrong in my life Are the arms that don't hold me Through the long lonely nights The only thing wrong in my life Is you're not in it, baby
I ought to simply move on And shrug off your goodbye But it's hard to see the future Through these tears in my eyes The sun never shined so brightly But one cloud blocks out the light
The only thing wrong in my life Are the arms that don't hold me Through the long lonely nights The only thing wrong in my life Is you're not in it, baby
My world was close to perfection 'Til the day you said goodbye
The only thing wrong in my life Are the arms that don't hold me Through the long lonely nights The only thing wrong in my life Is you're not in it, baby
The only thing wrong Is you're not in it, baby You're not in it, baby
Grissom opened his eyes and heard a female voice humming the same song. He looked up and saw Sara standing there stare at him. "Yes Sara?" Sara looked at Grissom and noticed that he had been crying. "Griss why were you crying?" Grissom wiped his eyes and stare at him. "Its nothing." Sara shook her head. "I just wanted to let you know I'm done writing the document on are last case. And I'm heading out. So good night." She lay the folder down and walked out still humming the song. Grissom picked it up and closed the door. And let the tears fall. God I can't get her out of my head or my heart. Sara stops and forgot that she had a note for him. Well more like a letter but still. She walked back to his office and slides it under his door. And she walked out of the building still humming. Grissom picked up the letter and read it. It read:
Dear Grissom, If you heard that song by Jamie O'Neal that just played today then you know how I feel about you. And what I feel that is missing from my life. Always remember that I'm here for you.
Love,
Sara
Grissom smiled and put it into the folder and hummed a happier tune as he signed out and went home.
(I might write more of the couple or the scene. But who knows.)
