They were the musketeers of the twenty first century - always having each other's back, looking out for one another, always together as a group: Audrey Geller, Lucas Scott and Haley James.

Best friends since childhood, they had gone through everything together, just the three of them. Nothing in their life was to hard for them to get through. Lucas was your average boy next door - sweet, kinda, he was the perfect best-friend, the night in shinning armor and prince at the same time, the first son of Dan Scott, Lucas had never really known his "sperm donor" as he referred to his dad, instead his father was the man whom his mom had been married to since he could remember - Keith Scott, the same Keith Scott that Lucas worked part time for. Audrey was your stereotypical girl - she loved shopping, flirting with Nathan - Lucas' half brother (Lucas and Nathan had gotten re-acquainted with each other, don't hate each other), talking on the phone, painting her nails and everything else that was associated with being a stereotyped girl - including the fact that she has never worked a day in her life. Haley on the other hand was a complete tomboy - living with her seven brothers (Aaron, Carter, Dean, Smith, Chris, Joshua, and Justin) that was no surprise, Haley had grown up with tools instead of Barbie's, learning about cars instead of shopping - she was just one of the guys, it didn't help as well that her mother had left when Haley was only a year old - Haley had been brought up by her brother's and their wives and/or girlfriends.

That was until Lucas had joined the team. Asked by Whitey, and convinced by Karen, Keith, Nathan, Audrey, Haley, Skills, Mouth, Junk and Jimmy Lucas had finally agreed to join the team - bringing him and his friends into a world where he didn't feel he belonged...all except one that is. At first it hadn't been so bad, they would all walk to school together - Haley being the last to be picked up because she lived the closest to school, but there was always one less movie night so that Lucas and Audrey could go to a party that just didn't "suit" Haley, or not being able to hang out on weekends or after school cause they had "other things". Soon it came to the point where no longer did Lucas and Audrey wait by her door, no in between classes hanging out, no recognition even.

That is their past...can they change their future?
