An Untitled Poem.
By: Delaney F.
--------
The power is mine
It's all in my hand
A shake and a spray
Across the vertical land
My speed is undoubtfully
Without a flaw
Once I am finished
That wall is no longer just a wall
It's now a piece of art
Something I can be proud of
That stupid high-pitched sound
Is just merely the sound of
Sirens of law
Handcuffs, time, and fines
Those metal chain bracelets are for wrists
But not mine
A pair of wheels to call my own
A strap and a buckle there
And I'm powerfully mobile
I can soar through the air
This life I'm living
May not be perfect
But my friends and my freedom
Make it that much more worth it!
