PROLOGUE
Sometimes the end is closer than we all think. With the outbreak in Raccoon City, countless lives were destroyed. A virus created by Umbrella Corporation had first been leaked in the Spencer Mansion, located in Raccoon Forest. Later, the entire city had been infested with zombies and other creatures. After rescuing the only survivors, a single option remained: destroy the city to eradicate any traces of the virus that remained. Now, nearly six years later, a new nightmare was about to begin. Umbrella had been destroyed, along with their viruses, but at what cost? Everyone who experienced the effects of living dead - zombies - and mutations beyond imagination was long since gone or deceased. Leon was one of the lucky few who survived the incident. "My mission now was simple: protect the President and his family. Failure was not an option. Training constantly, I thought to myself, 'After the hell I've been through, this has to be easy!'. The President's daughter, Ashley, has been kidnapped and taken to an as-of-yet unidentified location. My new mission is to rescue her at all costs. "I don't know what I'll find, but I will save her, if it's the last thing I do," Leon S. Kennedy thought to himself.
CHAPTER 1
In the middle of nowhere in Europe was the last place I expected to end up.
